Rating - It indeed only holds 8-9 ounces...but they are great!

It is true- this "12 oz" jar only holds about 8-9 ounces of hardened wax by weight, but there is no deception here...the specs clearly explains this. <br /> <br /> This is a perfect candle jar in my eyes, I love them with the silver lids. <br /> <br /> Shipping was fast and the jars were packaged extremely well.<br /> <br /> Great company, great product!

I was pretty disappointed when I received these jars. By the description I thought they would hold 12oz. worth of candle... in actuality they only hold about 8 or 9 ounces. Wish I would have known this before I ordered them :(
