Protective Varnish Coat

We've added a varnish coat to the inside of all of our candle tins. This layer protects the metal from aggressive fragrances like cinnamon and vanilla that can migrate out of the wax and react with the tin, causing discoloration. Now you can be sure that your candles will look as nice as the day you poured them!

Candle tins are a great alternative (or complement) to traditional glass candle containers. Ours have a really nice finish and snug fitting lids.

The 16 oz size is our largest candle tin and allows a large, long-burning candle with the style and portability of a tin. We recommend double wicking this tin.

For optimum scent throw, especially for those fragrances that will be used in large areas, these are the size candle tins you want to use. I triple wicked them and gave them as samples to known candle lovers whom had not yet purchased from me. My conversion rate was 8 out 10. Oh, and I only just became a CandleScience customer last week. See my review of Very Vanilla used in this size tin.

These tins are wonderful. I am new to candke making and wanted a container that was easy to use. These are wonderful tins. I may have to order some other sizes too :)
