What exactly does Carbon Neutral mean?
Answer:
As you know, Candle Science ships customer orders via UPS throughout the U.S. and the world. To help cancel the CO2 produced from transportation, we have purchased “carbon credits” that offset 100% of the CO2 released. These credits support and fund projects that either prevent CO2 from being released or actively remove it from the atomosphere. Some examples would be wind farms that produce clean energy and reforestation which helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions. In this way, Candle Science is doing its part to have less impact on the environment.
We are excited and proud that Candle Science is the first in our industry to offer green shipping, and we can guarantee that we are paying the full cost of implementing this project with no cost increase to you.
