Elevance is now manufacturing the C-3 Soy Wax. Please retest this wax before purchasing large quantities.

Cargill NatureWax C-3 is a soy wax for container candles, tealights, and candle tins. This newest soy container blend from Cargill produces a much smoother top than the previous blends. That combined with good wax adhesion and color stabilization makes for a fantastic 100% pure soy wax.

Directions:

- Heat soy wax to 185 F (so fragrance oil fully dissolves)
- Add fragrance oil and color
- Remove from heat and stir gently for 2 minutes
- Allow soy wax to cool to desired pour temperature
- Stir gently one last time and pour candle

Rating - New manufacturer must have changed this wax!

For the past year I have used Cargill C-3 and had no problems, except the occasional heating top to smooth. The last two 50 lb boxes I have received have been a thinner solid wax and is loaded with air bubbles when heated. All my candles have air holes in them. I thought the first box before Xmas might have been a bad batch so I recently ordered again and same problem. I will be switching to the EcoSoya CB Advanced.

Rating - Pleased with this brand

I have used the Ecosoya 135 and this Cargill brand. I usually have to smooth out the tops of the Cargill a little more often with a heat gun then I do with the 135, but the quality is there as far as the way the wax burns and the scent throw. I am very pleased with this wax and the lower price is a plus.
