This is a beautiful floral scent with sweet undertones. My customers really love it!
This scent is so overly sweet it made me nauseous. :( Not good at all.
This smells amazing! I uses 2.4 teasponns of fragrance for my 4oz tin soy candles and it has a GREAT cold & hot throw.
After curing for 3+ days these babies are good to go. I also used 415wax but I'm going to try blending 1/2 &1/2 with the 465 wax so it looks prettier.
Purchased this fragrance as a sample and let me tell you.. the Frangrace is heavenly, I just wanted to keep smelling it. Now, I just need to see how it throws in my candles that I make this weekend. I'll probably mix it with something else to increase the throw.
I love this scent. It is one of my best sellers. I use this scent in everything I make at the shop. From rubs to candles, Bath Bombs to mekts, hands down its GREAT!
Personally I like it. That being said I haven't gotten positive feed back from this fragrance. Maybe its the summer markets I've tried to sell it in but I barely sold any, Not a strong hot throw.
I just started making candles & chose Bird of Paradise as my free sample in my order. I tried it out as my trial and error batch (since it was free) and have to say I'm disappointed in the little amount of scent it gives off. I put 1 full ounce of oil into 1lb of soy wax and poured the wax into 3- 8oz mason jars. I'm hoping I did something wrong because I love the scent but am not getting much fragrance when the candle is lit.
I wasn't the biggest fan of the scent and if you smell it while it is in the bottle it smells bad, but once you put it into a candle everyone loves it. I have had lots of people buy candles with that scent from me.
I hate to give a bad review, but this scent is awful. So artificial and overly sweet in soy wax. It reminds me of a cheap grape candy. I like most Candle Science scents and have a lot of them, but this is one of the worst I've tried. No one who smelled it liked it.
This is one of the only FO i will burn in my home because of the subtleness of the aroma. Although I make candles, I am extremely sensitive. Most candles give me a headache. This fragrance is the best tropical fruit and floral i have ever smelled. It feels like you are drinking a tropical fruit and vanilla ice cream smoothie on the beach in Hawaii surrounded by fresh island flowers. WOW
I use soy wax and my candles do not throw this scent across the room so if you are looking for STRONG, this FO is not like that.
I absolutely love bird of paradise this is a must buy I bought it as a sample and so mad I didn't order more but that's what I'm doing now!! This is a must!!!
Very good scent, not too strong which is good in my opinion with floral scents.
So far I have used this as a mixer with other fragrance oils in my tealight fragrance oil warmer. It adds a sweet, floral, creamy vanilla scent. I like it.
I can see why this scent is requested so much,it is a very interesting floral ....not your typical floral much more tropical.I would definately say to give it a try if you have not.
This is my favorite fragrance so far. It only has a 2 leaf rating however, the scent is strong! It smells so good!
MY STEPMOTHER AND DAD BOUGHT THIS SCENT FOR ME TO TRY OUT WITH MY BUISSNESS AND I HAVE TO SAY I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH IT. IT HAS A GOOD COLD AND HOT SCENT TO IT. IT WAS A BIG HIT WITH MY YOUNGER CUSTOMERS I WILL DEFINATTLY REORDER IN THE FUTURE
I really disliked the smell myself and have not sold a single Bird of Paradise, will not reorder this particular scent
I made several candles with this scent to give as Christmas presents. Everyone loved it! A very smooth, tropical scent and a must-have!
Got this as my sample and I was very impressed considering I had no clue what to expect! The more I smell it the more I love it :) It is mild, not as strong as the others but still has a decent throw.
I could not stop opening the bottle and smelling this amazing scent when I received it in the mail. I cannot wait to actually use it tomorrow when I make some candles. I may have to keep them all to myself! Will DEF. buy a much bigger bottle!
I smelt more of a baby powder that tropical fruits. It did have a strong throw with the GB464. I did fire the candle up the next day might be the cause of having a powdery scent.
Had no idea what this would smell like when I ordered the test size bottle. It is just beautiful - very smooth. Will be ordering a much larger bottle next time.
Amazing scent throw coupled with a wonderful aroma. Absolutely loved it.
I am a many times over repeat customer of Candle Science and just love their scents. This one included. Love the soft floral and fruit combination. WONDERFUL.
my comment before about the scent was too hasty, it grew on me and its nice and tropical almost pineapple-ish
This has to best the best fragrance I have ever come across. It smelled like heaven in the bottle and after making candles using feather palm wax, I burned the candle and my whole entire house smelled so great! I was extremely impressed by this fragrance and I instantly sold out of it! A must have.
I loved this scent from the moment I opened the bottle! Others have said that it was amazing as well. I used it in GB464 soy wax and when I lit the candle the smell filled the house! This is on my permanent order list!
I have to admit - I really didn't like this smell out of the bottle! I almost didn't even use it. I'm glad I did! After 48 hours it gives off a fun, fruity scent. Not overpowering, just sweet and uplifting. (Used in CB-135) I was actually surprised how much I liked this scent in the end.
