This scent is a really nice one by itself, and I miss it, but it is also a GREAT base scent to build on! I blended this with a Ginger Orange EO and the Pomegranate Cider FO from here and OMG it was AMAZING!! I call it Ginger Berry POP! One of my most popular soaps!
Just a follow-on to my previous comment. I tried mixing Harvest Berry in equal parts with Black Cherry Merlot and Cinnamon Bun, and the result I called "Autumn Wreath". The idea of a orange and yellow leafed wreath gave a better mental image for the grassy notes (still there and apparently impossible to bury). Probably any fruity scent would sub in just as well for Black Cherry Merlot (which slides away into oblivion in this mixture, a sad fate for one of my personal favorites.) Not sure about the hot throw because I just made it today, but the cold throw is nice.
Bought this based on the scent notes, and it has a really strong, very unexpected grassy scent. I guess that is the "harvest" part of harvest berry. I'd like to point out that "grass" was not listed in the fragrance notes. What to do with this? I'm going to start by trying to mix it away with things like black cherry merlot and wassail. Not a fan. Wouldn't buy again, and really regret that I bought 8 oz of this thing because now I have to find a way to use it.
Smells horrible! Smells like someone who doesnt clean after using the bathroom for a week! Then tried to cover it up with some sugar. I ordered 8 oz and honestly no idea what to do with it! Hoping i can find something to mix it with to make it better. Maybe whiskey! Since thats so strong. Anyways if you like that smell this is totally for you! Consider doing something with it for April fools.
I'm definately getting the tea. No cinnamon. Smells like berry tea to me. I like the scent, but it really isn't as described.
Strong throw in soy wax, smells great! One of my new favorite fall scents!
I made CP soap with this fragrance oil last week. I did 2 oz. of this mixed with 4 oz. of cranberry orange fragrance from another company. Currently all my soap smells like is cinnamon (think cinnamon candy. Like "red hots") with some orange and cranberry in the background, which isn't necessarily a bad thing since this soap will be ready in November. I'm hoping the cinnamon mellows out and allows the orange and cranberry to shine through a little bit more, but if not, it's still a great seasonal fall/winter fragrance. If you plan on mixing this fragrance with anything else that may potentially be weaker, maybe go with a 1 oz. bottle and call it good. Overall, my soap stayed very fluid for a long time. No ricing, acceleration, or any issues like that. :)
Very nice!
I loved this scent!
So fake and and so strong like a horrible perfume
