The Position: Office Manager

Our Office Manager is the first person visitors meet when they arrive at our headquarters in Downtown Durham.

This position requires strong communication skills and a desire to collaborate with our entire office team. Our ideal candidate is upbeat, determined, and has a strong work ethic.

You will spend most of your day on general office organization such as ordering supplies, scanning, and scheduling. The rest of your time will be spent assisting our executive team with bookkeeping, human resources, and special projects.

We have a small, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment. We need someone who is proactive, adaptable, and energetic. You’ll need to pick up new things quickly and run with them to thrive in this role.

  • Assist with office scanning, filing, and organization
  • Purchase office and breakroom supplies
  • Maintain office calendar and scheduling
  • Organize company events such as birthdays and office lunches
  • Assist with bookkeeping, receipt management, and monthly reconciliations
  • Complete other project-based assignments as necessary
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • BA/BS degree
  • Computer literacy
  • Willingness to learn
