This is a nice fresh, classic ocean scent

I love this one a lot. Definitely reminiscent of the beach, while also being perfumey. I wish there was a bit more saltiness.

Glad you guys decided against discontinuing such a great scent.

Oh MAN I hope CandleScience actually reads these reviews. Sea Mist is a mixer in my best selling beach scent! I can't believe it's gone! I'm glad I got a larger order of it last time but now I wish I had gone a size up; I'm going to have to figure something out or I fear my customers my riot lol! PLEASE bring this back, CS. Please!

I was very surprised to see you are discontinuing this fragrance. I just ordered some to hold me over until I can find a replacement. I have to say this was one of the more realistic ocean/sea scents I've been able to find after researching many different suppliers. If you are going to discontinue it to reformulate with more saltiness than I'm ok with. If not, you don't really have a good alternative fragrance so will need to find a replacement elsewhere.

This is by far one of the greatest fragrance oils CS carries. To get rid of this is blasphemy. CS has made some poor decisions in the past but this one has to be the worst mistake yet. Sorely disappointed.

I love this fragrance and it works great when mixing it with other stronger ones. Candle science please do not discontinue, you have nothing else like this. Its the perfect balance of softness with a kick of freshness. PLEASE keep this one!

This is hands down my favorite scent from Candle Science. It is so unique and fantastic. While others come close (like driftwood) it just doesn't compare to the subtlety and grace this fragrance has. Airy, sweet, salty... It immediately takes me to the rocky beaches of Washington. So sad to see it being discontinued......

I had used a sample of this as a tester and fell in love with this scent. I came here to reorder it to see it is being discontinued. Very saddened as i see others are as well...Is there any possibility to reconsider? Im happy to see another reviewer mentioned driftwood was similar but I cant get enough of this scent. Also, would like to know the fragrance notes of this besides essential oils to possibly find it elsewhere if this fragrance does go. Please Candle Science don't do it!!!

Well, darn. There goes a third fragrance that my customers and I have enjoyed. This is a great subtle staple in several of my FO blends, and while I suspect it will be easier to replace than some others due to its subtlety, I'm not looking forward to all the time and testing that will take. I'll take the advice of another reviewer and try Driftwood before looking further. For my .02, nothing will ever smell like the real ocean, but this was close enough to honor many fond memories of the Oregon coast.

I too am HIGHLY disappointed at the discontinuation of this item! This fragrance has been a best seller and part of my line since I began making candles 7 years ago. It also happens to be my favorite fragrance. You can smell the salty air with this scent. It is the best and I cannot say enough how disappointed I am with CS right now. This is another in a long line of items cancelled by CS. Not happy.

I need to enter a review here because of the comments that it does not smell like the ocean. Well, I grew up on the west coast, and yes, it does smell like the fragrance our houses took on, our closets took on. When I enter the room where a Seamist candle is, I am flooded with wonderful memories. I am very sorry to see it is being discontinued, but thankfully the Driftwood fragrance is very close to this one. (Still like this better.)

This sent smells nothing like the sea. It smells more like a old woman's perfume. I am glad I only got a sample size . The only way I will reorder is if it sells well.

Used this in Ecosoya CB Advanced Soy Wax and 11 oz tureen jars, and it's very perfumy, floral type. Does not remind me of anything even remotely associated with the sea or ocean. Not a bad scent if you like a heavy floral/perfume scent, but not as described at all.

I find this to be a very refreshing scent. However, I have not had a lot of luck getting it to throw well, hot or cold. I even used 9% fragrance load.

It was odd. This scent smelled more mild in the bottle. As soon as I added it to GB464 the scent seemed to explode! I will likely use less than 1oz/lb for a more sublte scent. I like the scent. It is great for a summer day!

This is it. Clean, strong, without much cure time in my soy wax. You can just feel the waves & ocean air.
