You may see some variation in the wax coating on the wick due to different coating processes. The variance of the wax coating on the wick has no impact on the burn of the candle.
About the ECO Series
ECO wick is constructed from natural flat cotton threads interwoven with paper threads that produce a rigid structure for easy pouring. The consistent flame and slight curl of ECO wicks work well with natural waxes and ensures an even burn.
ECO wicks are lead and zinc free.

I’ve used ECO for almost 4 years, and they have been very reliable wick. All of my candles are double or triple wicked with ECO wicks! I also use 464 wax ; )
I have bought a large mold to cast my own candle vessels. I got a nice one that holds 21 oz of wax and its 4inch in diameter. I tried sooo many wood wicks as well as many two wick combos, I finally got it right as a 3 wick combo with these ECO 6. The container doesnt get too hot and the melt pool is perfect. Hope it will be my most expensive candle that will sell at my booth. The wax lasts longer, they barely smoke when you put them out. love them.. The curl doesnt bother the performance imo. I took away one star because I have compared the CD and ECO sizes side by side and they are a world of difference. For instance the CD8 and the ECO8 not even close to working in the same candle..
