Product Update:

You may see some variation in the wax coating on the wick due to different coating processes. The variance of the wax coating on the wick has no impact on the burn of the candle.

About the LX Series
LX wick is a specially braided flat cotton wick which maintains a slight curl when burning. The curl moves the tip of the wick into the hottest part of the flame, which helps to minimize or eliminate carbon buildup (mushrooming), reduce smoking, and provide a 'self-trimming' effect, which creates a very stable and consistent flame. LX wicks are lead and zinc free.

For help choosing the right wick for your candle, visit our wick guide.

Conveniently secure your wicks with Wick Stickers (large) or Wick Stickers Pro.

Love your wicks & wick guide

I'm very satisfied with all your wicks and look to your wick guide often. However I have a burning question that I can't seem to find the answer to. If I have a pillar candle that is 3.5 what wick should I use? I don't see any info on half size pillars.

Is the flower that forms on the wick when burned normal? What wick can I use for the 3" diameter container?

It has weaker than LX 24.

I tested it as recommended by Candle Science. When I tested using soy pillar wax BW-921 and LX 26 wick in a 3-inch diameter container, only about 2 inches in diameter melted after burning for two hours, and the wick keeps going out. It has weaker firepower than the Lx 24. which wick should i use?

LX 26 wick

These wicks seem to create LARGE mushroom on top of the wick. Extremely large. It does not look appealing. It also falls apart onto the wax and does not look so good. I am using it on my 7 oz , 8.5 oz and 10 oz candles. Burns very hot and fast. What can I switch to to improve this?
