I am by no means a professional candle maker, I do this for fun. I got this with one of the starter kits and was able to make ~3 8oz candles with this pitcher filled. It melted the wax evenly and was easy to pour into the containers. I've used it since with more small batches of candles and can't complain. Some of the labeling has come off but it's still easy enough to measure.

This plastic pouring pitcher is an extremely versatile tool for your candle and soap making needs. Use this microwave-safe pitcher as a mixing bowl or measuring cup for both soy wax and melt and pour soap bases. It holds 1lb of unmelted soy wax, so it’s perfect for microwaving small or test candle batches. This pitcher also works great for microwaving and mixing your melt and pour soap creations.

I used this for a small votive and it worked great! However, I attempted to use it for a larger batch of candles and it melted in my microwave. It might have been my microwave or the wax I used, but I think a metal pitcher might be better.
