Candle dye blocks are simple to use and produce vibrant colors in both soy and paraffin. Our dye blocks are packed in foil bags that virtually eliminate color from bleeding through the bag and staining other surfaces.

Usage:

1 full block per 2 pounds (0.9 kg) of soy wax
1 full block per 4 pounds (1.8 kg) of paraffin wax

Came out great!

I used a straight paraffin with an additive, (stearic acid at 2%) and the color turned out exactly as pictured for paraffin. In fact it’s so dark, I’ll probably use less per pound next time to get a slightly lighter shade of blue. I haven’t used it yet is soy, but I expect it will be much lighter, as shown in the example. I love all of Candle Science’s color blocks!

This color consistently frosts in my candles, regardless of the temp I pour, the rate of the pour, or the amount I use.

I'm not a fan of this color at all. For some reason this color dried pretty ashy on the top.. I'm so sad it ruined 2 of my batches while all my other candles/ colors came out fine

The color isn't nearly as deep as pictured. I used this with EcoSoya Advanced CB wax.

Not the color I was hoping for :(

The color I got (with IGI 6006) was more like the dusty blue of fresh blueberries. I was really hoping for the color that was on the bag, but it still worked out since I was working with a blueberry scent anyways. Just not what I was hoping for.
