We did not experience any acceleration or separation. The oils and water were slow to form an emulsion and we continued to stick blend until a medium trace was achieved. The batter remained workable and poured smoothly into the mold. However, we found that the batter began to thicken as the last amount was going into the mold. After 24 hours there was no discoloration and the scent was strong. We observed the soap had only reached a partial gel through the center. After 30 days, there was no discoloration and the scent remained strong. This would be an ideal fragrance for a design technique that requires a light trace for a short amount of time.

This smell better than I thought it would

This smell better than I thought it would, it smelled really nice just wasn’t what I was expecting. I still loved it though.

Beach trip in a bottle

This scent is a subtle yet impactful scent. It is reminiscent of every memorable trip taken to the beach. CT and HT are great in 464 wax. It is my favorite ocean/sea scent! Customers love it too.

Reminds me of the ocean breeze

This scent is very nice. It does make me think of an ocean breeze. I smell crisp air, water, and saltiness. It's both tangy and soothing at the same time. I mixed this fragrance with another FO to help bring out more of the salty notes and it really did work. The fragrance is soft yet impactful. I have a very good CT and HT with a 52% soy to 48% paraffin wax blend and an ECO wick. The FO is 7.5% Ocean Breeze and 3.7% another FO = 11.2% total.

Hi Audra,

Thanks so much for your review. We typically recommend keeping the fragrance load for candles between 6-10%, even if your wax states that it can hold more. We’ve found that higher loads can cause certain issues like fragrance leaching or pooling or you may experience poor burn performance including little to no hot throw or excess soot or smoke while the candle burns. However, we are glad to hear that you’ve found a process that works great for you and that you’re enjoying working with our fragrances. This sounds like a wonderful blend, thanks so much for sharing!

Observe Flashpoint!

This is a beautiful beach scent and when added to soy 464 wax at the right temperature, it will give a great hot throw! I'm used to adding my fragrance oils at 180-185F however, with this scent I didn't observe that the flash point was 174F and I noticed it didn't give the best hot or cold throw after curing for a few days and instead it gave a dull/awkward smell like it wasn't right. Adding just below the flash point helped me keep the fragrance bright and vibrant and now my cured candles have an excellent hot throw!

I found it!

I have been searching for this scent! A local shop uses something very similar in a soap I love. So what did I do? I bought some melt and pour base from here and made my own. 2lbs of soap in a small loaf pan gives me 10 bars of soap. 1 bar of soap at the shop costs 7.99. Win!

Refreshing scent!

I ordered 1oz of Ocean Breeze to try out and I absolutely love this scent! Very refreshing. I'll be testing it in my candles to add to my signature line.
