Enjoy having these 
I love using this option for my jar candles. It's cost effective and looks great, have not had any pushback pertaining to it being plastic. Probably not the best idea to extinguish the flame with it, but it covers the candle and looks sleek.

May i know the dimensions of the plastic lid? I would like to use it with tumbler glass
Do not fit jars as expected
We purchased these along with the Medium Amber Straight Sided Jar (Threaded) before the jars were discontinued. When you put the lids on the jars, they do not twist on completely, leaving a gap between the glass and the lid. It looks cheap and like we used a lid that was not made for the jar. Normally I would not write a review for this, but the jar listed this lid a compatible lid.

Hey Skye! Thanks for your review. We love seeing that you are enjoying these Black Plastic Threaded Lids! We also agree with you and don't recommend using lids to extinguish candle flames. Candle Snuffers, Dippers, and blowing out the candle are much more preferred.
