For those that may have had trouble with this fragrance in cold process soap, I have a few tips that should help. We use this fragrance and it works well in cold process soap and I am a wholesaler. Some have described the smell as unpleasant. It can be to certain people but we have found adding half of the autumn glow and half harvest apple to your fragrance calculation creates a more pleasant fragrance. Adds more of an apple spice note to it and is appropriate for the season. This will also help alleviate excessive acceleration. We do a 3 color swirl using this fragrance combo. Keep in mind the autumn glow will darken the batch and colors. To keep the colors bright, we add a very small amount of titanium dioxide to each color and what this does is keep the colors from turning dull. The colors will become more of a beautiful pastel hue. We use a bright yellow, orange and a brown. Also, soap at very low temps. In fact, we found that if we pre batch our lye the day before and let it sit covered overnight and soap with the lye at room temp, it works rather well. Do not use castor oil. For some reason, castor oil tends to create an oddly textured bar with this fragrance. We use a lot of hard oils like coconut at 28% and palm oil at 30% along with canola and high oleic sunflower. Works beautifully. Lastly, soap with the oils at a very low temp as well. At around 85 - 90 degrees along with room temp lye water. It will accelerate a bit but not rapidly, and you will see a bit of separation at first. Let it sit for one to two minutes as soon as you see separation on the immersion blender. Pulse again. Keep working with it. It will stay combined and be rather fluent eventually. Like the consistency of moderately thin pancake batter. We’ve done this many times flawlessly. It took some time to figure this out but when we did, it was game changer and a top seller for us. Hope this helps.

I truly do not understand some of the negative reviews. Buying a pre-blended fragrance oil is a gamble, unless it smells like absolutely none of the listed notes, why would you write a bad review for it?
That being said, this is one of my absolute favorites. I keep coming back and I sell out of them every year. It smells like walking through an apple orchard in the fall. So crisp and well-rounded and not too sweet.

I love this scent. It smells similar to Fallen Leaves, but has a cinnamon/spice/nutmeg kind of twist to it that I found intriguing.

Yeah this is autumn glow alright. Its heavy on the cinnamon and cloves and has some roasted nut/caramel tones. It smells like pumpkin pies, pralines, and roasted pecans to me.

The scent reminds me of a mixture of cinnamon buns and spiced tea. The scent is stronger than usual which is nice. It didn't fit my collection theme, but I am enjoying the testers I made.
