I had truly high hopes for this fragrance. Against my judgement, I ordered 16 oz when I should have ordered a sample size. Even in a candle, I don't think this fragrance improves. Sure, the nuttiness becomes more apparent, but the CT is weak and doesn't compensate for how sickeningly sweet it is. I was hoping for German roasted almond/cashew kind of fragrance and got musty chemical sugar and nuts.

Out of the bottle i didn't care for htis one... But in 6006 it's super great. It's like a muted nutty fall candle thats slightly sweet. I don't like many food scented candles, but this is a nice version. Definitely try it in the wax. It's hard to judge any fragrance unless you make it in its intended purpose.
This fragrance oil is lovely, and will be in several of our blends this holiday season. It is warm, creamy and nutty and compliments a variety of FOs.
I feel sorry for those that failed to get beyond just sniffing out of bottle — rookie mistake. Your loss!
I have to admit I did not enjoy this new fragrance. I ordered samples of the new 2021 Fall Line and I am sadly unimpressed. This smells heavily like feet. To each his own, but this fragrance is not for me.
OOB it is sweet, but HOLY COW, the hot throw with this scent in 464 soy wax is incredible. The nuttiness of the Chestnuts come through beautifully, along with the sweetness of amaretto and sugar. We used .8 floz in 12 oz of soy wax in a mason jar with CD18 wick, and the entire living room was filled with the mouthwatering scent! Excellent addition to a fall/winter candle line for those customers that don’t love pine or cinnamon.
Sorry, this scent to me smells like Sugared Corn Chips
OOB is quite sweet and mixed with coconut wax, the woodsiness of it is revealed. I've been looking for a skin-safe gourmand oil and OH. MY. GOODNESS. This scent isn't as holiday as I thought it would be but in the BEST way possible. I can see using this year round. It's woodsy, creamy and can definitely go towards gourmand if that's how you want to sell it. PLEASE, CandleScience, do NOT discontinue this and my goodness, keep it skin-safe. Bravo!
I love this scent! It is so different as compared to the typical Chestnuts + Brown Sugar. It's not as sweet and it's more complex. Can't wait to add this to my Fall line!
Just received these new scents. OOTB it smells like a cinnamon spiced snicker-doodle very sweet. It really does give off a Fall feel to it.
Does this smell like corn chips to anyone else?? Am I crazy? I can smell the chestnut but underneath I smell a distinct corn chips smell! I haven’t made this into candles yet but out of the bottle I don’t get any sweetness so I would maybe blend it with a gingerbread or vanilla cookie scent.
