Fraser Fir trees are one of the most popular Christmas tree varieties, and the CandleScience home state of North Carolina, produces more than 50 million of these iconic trees a year. Our true-to-life Fraser Fir fragrance oil begins with top notes of cypress and zesty lemon peel that fold into woodsy mid notes of evergreen and cedar. The rich base of fir, amber, and moss evokes fond memories of decorating a freshly-cut Christmas tree. Fraser Fir is perfect for setting a festive holiday mood or creating a cozy ambience for a quiet winter evening by the fire.

This fragrance is infused with natural essential oils, including fir balsam.

Blends well with: Black Coral and Moss, Fireside, Frankincense and Myrrh, Frosted Juniper, Cranberry Apple Marmalade, Baltic Dew

Alternative branding ideas: Evergreen, Deep Woods

Suggested colors: Green

Lye Water Temperature 116ºF (46.7°C)
Oil Temperature 99ºF (37.2°C)

We did not experience acceleration or separation. Once the soap came to trace the texture of the mixture transitioned into a goopy consistency. It was still fluid enough to pour, but intricate swirls would not be possible with the texture. After 24 hours the soap was pale yellow and very strong. We observed signs of a partial gel with minimal insulation. After curing, the soaps remained a light yellow color, and the scent was strong.

The best winter scent that everyone loves!

Best scent ever
Alison 2025-11-22

Most inspiring scent ever! This is the moneymaker. Every year at our vendor market this is why people want. I had people “running” to grab these candles. They absolutely love the fresh scent it puts out. A lot of other vendors market similar but never compare to this. I will continue to praise this for years to come. I can’t make them fast enough for people to grab off the shelves!

Smells good, didn't work in soap

This will be a candle only fragrance for me. It smells good, but it immediately seized in my cold process soap.
