About the LX Series

LX wick is a specially braided flat wick which maintains a slight curl when burning. The curl moves the tip of the wick into the hottest part of the flame, which helps to minimize or eliminate carbon buildup (mushrooming), reduce smoking, and provide a 'self-trimming' effect, which creates a very stable and consistent flame.

You may see some variation in the wax coating on the wick due to different coating processes. The variance of the wax coating on the wick has no impact on the burn of the candle.

LX wicks are lead and zinc free.

What am i doing wrong?

So using the wick guide provided by CS, i was recommended this wick series for my 8oz tins, CS recommend that i double wicked them for my tins so i did, running through my first test run they burned perfect. But ever since the are burning super slow and not burning flat. What could be the issue? I

Works great w/ 6006

I've had a heck of a time finding a wick for 6006 wax. This LX 12 works great for 3" diameter candle. Still testing for my 4" so any feedback would be great. I get terrible soot with 6006 but its got such great hot throw and doesnt tunnel at all.

Works Perfect

These work perfect for the Coconut/Soy Wax Blend 454. We use two wicks in our straight sided Libby jars, as recommended per the lab notes. No tunneling, and creates a perfect melting pool after a few hours. Highly recommend if your'e using the same wax blend.

Ambivalent

This is the wick that was recommended for straight tumbler, i am using cocosoy 454, 8%fo, no tunneling, good melt pool and ht, but the flame is flickering, What do you recommend i should do? Wick down? What wick should i use? Thank you
