Gilded Mandarin

Normally orange/mandarin scents don't throw well for me alone. They do better blended. This one does extremely well alone in a large bedroom/bath. Its a lovely scent. I liken the aroma to a citrus (orange) perfume. Bright on the top end then smolders a little sultry. It does extremely well in Cocosol wax melts where you can bump up the FO percentage. I'll be buying more of this one!

I wanted to love this FO because oob it smells amazing but unfortunately for me in my soy wax it had 0 HT after an 18 day cure. CT was maybe a 2/5. It may be a better suited FO for a body product like a soap or rollerball but as for me using this oil with with candles, it's a no go unfortunately.

This is much better than I expected, I tend to not love mandarin fragrances. The cassis and coconut notes really balance the citrus well. This is warm, sensual, and beachy. I can already tell it will blend BEAUTIFULLY with amber driftwood FO but it's also great on its own.

Wow! It's so elegant. It has a citrus, ( not overpowering) creamy and a little woodsy scent. Very pretty with Golden Santal, and if you want to bring a little vanilla add some Amber Vanille.

Out of the bottle, I enjoyed this scent. I made a candle with the apricot coconut wax. The scent fills a large room with 8%, and has fantastic hot throw. I don't get much citrus from this fragrance pil, but the other notes come through beautifully. The sandlewood is the main note I smell when it's burning, for a lovely, homey scent. I might blend this with a citrus blending element for the next candle I make with it. Really enjoy it, but think it should be called Gilded Sandlewood.
