Even better when dried
Kalidava 2025-09-15

I'm using this one in some of my incense blends, but it's lovely alone too. It smells beautiful OOB, but even better dry. It really does smell like Oud (aloeswood), which nearly everything labeled "oud" doesn't, the FOs out there are nearly universally just sandalwood-like or cedar-like, lacking the touch of spice and sexy dust unique to the real thing. The forward smokiness backs off a bit after it's dried, so if you're after the strong smoke scent you might have to mix in some extra Smoke Element to boost it, but for my purposes it's perfect as is. So far it's mixed beautifully with everything I've tried, but especially uplifted a blend of other aromatic woods to smell luxurious. I put a tiny hint of it into the Himalayan Bamboo and Japanese Cherry Blossom mix I made yesterday and it was a great enhancement.

Tread lightly smoky scent

A strong smoky scent, add a touch of sandalwood to smooth it out some. It plays best with coconut waxes, in my opinion.

Can’t beat this one

I’ve been using this fragrance for a year now. By far one of my top fragrances. I’m shocked it doesn’t have 5 stars. Fantastic to mix or use as a standalone scent.

Wonderful !

This fragrance is smoky in a truly delightful way, I love using it to balance out other fragrances that might have been too sweet on their own. 10/10 !
