White Matte Tumbler Jar

These luxe White Matte Tumbler Jars with a warm gold interior lend a sophisticated flair to any candle line. Perfect for trendsetting home decor, wedding favors, or luxury lines, the electroplated gold lining the inside of the tumbler reflects a warm, soft glow while the candle is lit. Unlit, the electroplated gold interior reflects the candle's wax. These statement making tumblers are also available in black, green, cornflower, and cranberry.

These containers have a gentle taper that can make large labels challenging. We suggest using smaller labels for this product.

Looking for a lid?
Try our metal flat lids in black, silver, bronzerose gold or gold. Please note that our gold metal flat lid does not match the warmth of the matte tumbler's gold interior.

Note: Do not pick up jar by lid.

Candle Maker's Note:
If you typically wick our Straight Sided Tumbler or similar tumblers by sight alone, note that the reflective inside can make eyeballing the center of these tumblers difficult. A wick setter is recommended.

Pretty and thick

I love this jar it's pretty and the thickness is great for heat resistant.

Pretty but not quite what I expected

The jar itself is gorgeous for my holiday season line. I love the matte white finish on the outside with the metallic on the inside. However, I was a little disappointed with the description of warm gold as they are more of a copper. Not a deal breaker as I believe these will sell nicely at my shows. I do wish they weren’t as expensive. Another issue I found is that the flat metal lids I ordered for these don’t fit correctly like they do with my other jars so now I’m contemplating if I should sell them without a lid. By the way candle makers, a little candle sage glitter with these add extra bling onto of the metallic finish on the inside. So there’s a plus.

Pretty + Copper

The vessel is really pretty! A tad bit expensive and would like to see a better price point. In my opinion, the inside is more of a copper color, and the gold lid is more yellow gold - it somewhat clashes. I prefer the bronze lid with this vessel.

Updated review having issues

Well so far I made 6 of these candles.
Out of the 12 I received, two had missing white paint on the outside in small areas. Obviously I covered that with a label. The bottom paint comes off easily just by moving it to fill it and place on shelf. The worst parts tho... some of the gold paint flaking off the inside around the rim of the jar where my wick stabilizer was . I ended up using a gold leafing pen to cover that up. And... when I used the heat gun to smooth one candle, the gold got discolored and didn't clean off.. ugh.. They sure don't see durable and I haven't even sold one yet.. I want to love them but they might not work for me.. im gonna keep trying maybe I got a bad batch.. moved to 3 stars for now

Pretty, but Expensive

I love these jars and their lux detail. I find myself somewhere between the other reviews. Yes the jar is very pretty and looks beautiful when lit. The jar is very hard to apply labels to due to a bit of a tapering, I ended up using generic circle stickers, which I feel cheapens them a bit. My customers love the look but I'm worried about some of the other burn issues others are having.

Beautiful, but size description is off a little.

These are beautiful and really look great. However, I wouldn't put these at 8.3 oz for fill line, and 10 oz. certainly wouldn't fit to "overflow." Also, the recommended wick setter actually doesn't fit the jars well, and makes it hard to actually center the wicks using it. It's a great tool, just not for these jars, so I am disappointed I bought it for that purpose. However, I found it pretty easy to wick them by hand.

I gave them five stars because they really are gorgeous. Nothing is wrong with them, only the advice in the description. These definitely look luxury. Still working to find some lid options that match their luxury because they really look so high end!

I will update my review after I actually sell some of these candles.. expensive

when I buy the 464 wax in 45 lbs, and these jars with a lid, the cost to make the candle is $8.10. thats expensive to me. Thats just the wax and jar, that doesnt include, labels, shipping materials, wicks, fragrance, dye, etc. so.. these better sell for a decent price or I wont be ordering again. The cost to make the clear tumbler is $5.25 in comparison. It cost $20 to ship one box of 12 jars to me I live in the midwest. Where I live is rural and I have my candles for sale at a local indoor giant flea market that people from all over the US come to see it. Its a very grand place. But I cannot get anyone so far to pay more than $20 for a candle. No matter how beautiful and unique or how much time I spent on it, or how it smells. These shoppers are not forking over the price that others claim to get like $30 per candle. I use mostly candle science products but like I said I cant get people to pay more to be able to make a profit off candle science so far. im discouraged that the costs just keep rising from here as well.

Luxe is right!

I ordered this for my Valentine's Day candle, and they are perfect!
I want to stay within the realm of the tumblers that I use for my main candles, and this was a Suttle step up. I'm so happy that Candle Science is bringing in luxe jars like these it makes purchasing easier and affordable.

Beautifully Disappointed

Although this is an attractive jar, having a metallic inside drastically changes your cooling down rate causing wax to coagulate immediately upon pouring. Whilst this is a relatively easy obstacle to overcome by warming your containers, which I did, and surrounded each container with cardboard, I also covered sections with upside down boxes to help slow down the cooling process. These jars are also slightly angled which means if your label is anything other than a circle, it will not line up straight without great effort. All in all, they look nice but are extremely finicky to work with. Twice the cost without lids and the time lost fussing to get them right gives them a low 2-star rating.

Beautiful Jar!

These are exactly what I was hoping for! They burn beautifully and the flame reflects off of the gold inside. I used Soy 464 and a CD12 wick which worked great for me in this container.
