Updated August 2026 - Revised Recipe

Lye Temperature 72ºF Oil
Oil Temperature 90ºF +/- 5ºF

We added fragrance at a thick trace and hand-stirred. We experienced moderate acceleration when fragrance was added. After 30 days, the scent retention is good. The bar discolored to a dark brown. No ricing or separation occurred. While this fragrance discolors soap to dark brown, whether to use it in cold process soap comes down to personal preference and design goals.
