Puebla Tumbler Jar

Supplement your candle line with the Puebla Tumbler Jar. This lovely container began as a limited run product and proved to be so popular that it is here to stay. In homage to southwestern style, the Puebla Tumbler Jar’s thick glass and tapered sides add a unique, artisan flair to any candle line. The artisan style of this glassware results in cosmetic variations between jars, specifically:

  • thickness variations of the sham and walls of the glass
  • variation in glass clarity
  • the mouth of the jar taking a slight oval shape

Nice Jar, Big headache

Love the look and thickness of the jar but it's a PIA to wick and stabilize in the jar. Also the cure at the bottom was wacky. I had decent success with HTP wicks ( I use COCO 83 wax) but am going to try HPSP wicks. CD wicks were a no go for me.

Don't go by the recommended wick size

I like this jar and it is beautiful but I almost gave up trying to find the right wick. It took me 4 test candles to get it right! I tried with the recommended CD8 by Candle Science and that tunneled for me. Then I went with the CD12 and it still did it. I then went to the CD18 and that was almost right but it still didn't give me a flush melt pool all the way to the edges. I then used the CD 22 and I got the desired flush melt pool but feel like this is a very large wick for this jar. I don't know if I want to use that large of a wick. I am very frustrated with it at this point. Good thing I have a pot of test wax or I would be very upset about the cost of the wax I had to use to test these jars!!!

Beautiful Jars - One Issue I Had

These were almost perfect for me. I love the quality and thickness of these. I know the description does mention that some jars will have imperfections and was prepared for that. Unfortunately, I had a handful of jars (randomly and from two separate cases) that the bottoms were so rounded or "bubbled" up that I could not get the wick to stay put as there wasn't enough flat surface area, so they were unusable. Other than that issue, I had a good experience with these throughout the testing process. I did end up going with a different jar, but I think they are beautiful.

I haven't received these yet, but I'm excited!

I've been eying these vessels since they launch last year, and I'm super excited to try them out and I'm glad they're still here. I hope to actually make a luxury line out of these. I'll update this review once I do a successful burn test!

LOVE but shipping from East coast only (boooo)

These are great but for us on the West coast, the shipping % to cost ratio is no bueno! Candlescience, will you please make these available from your West coast facility?

Hi There, We're so sorry for any confusion caused by the temporary "Ships from East Coast" note on this product page. When a product is out of stock in one location, we will note which coast it is shipping from currently as well as any estimated restock date for the other coast. All of our products are stocked in both warehouses and we do our best to keep products in stock at both of our warehouses, but some items may go out of stock in one location before replenishment arrives. We certainly do not intend for this to cause additional stress but we hope this provides some clarity on this stock notation. If we can answer any additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to our Support team at and we would be happy to help however we can!

Please correct the jar measurements

I just received my order today and I like these jars as I use them for testing. I based my ratio off of the information listed. Once I got the jars they were small (7.7oz) not 9oz and this completely ruined my first test run. Fortunately, I was able to get the correct numbers and do another test. Please correct the dimensions of your jars for the next person.

Hi There! Thank you for leaving a product review for the Puebla Tumbler Jars. To confirm these containers have a wax weight of 7 oz. The 10 fl. oz measurement is the volume to overflow measurement which is the volume of liquid the container will hold before it overflows. Referencing the wax weight to fill line measurement will ensure that you have an adequately filled, and safe container candle. If we can be of further assistance in this regard, please don't hesitate to reach out to us via We're always happy to help!
