ECO .75 1" Pretabbed Tealight Candle Wicks
Choose a Variant

Product Update:
You may see some variation in the wax coating on the wick due to different coating processes. The variance of the wax coating on the wick has no impact on the burn of the candle.

The ECO .75 1" wick is recommended for soy tealight candles. ECO wick is constructed from natural flat cotton threads interwoven with paper threads that produces a rigid structure. The rigidity of this wick makes it an easy wick to use when making soy tealights. ECO wicks do not contain zinc or any other metals. This wick produces a consistent flame with a slight curl which ensures an even burn. ECO wicks are lead and zinc free.

Not what I was expecting

I’m new to candles and so I may have just purchased the wrong kind but I read everything from the type of wax I have and if it matched the wicks I purchased.

So I’m testing the burn and it’s not going very well.

1 tealight went out 30 min after burning began. 2 others are barely lit. So far, of all 6 I have burning, only 2 are ignited properly. One was able to burn all the way down but had about 1/2 a centimeter of wax remaining.

The stickers used to place the wicks are also thick and I wonder if that’s what caused there to be unmelted wax leftover.

Curl over, burn out

I'm shocked to review that my last purchase of pretabbed wick for tealights, was a disappointment. I've shopped with CS for awhile now and have never been dissatisfied with any purchase, however, my wick for my tealights are mushrooming, which is very odd and not staying lit at all. I thought my mind was playing tricks on me, so I light another one after another one, same results. Most embarrassing, is that I tested these wicks initially when first used, over a year and half ago, light tealights without issue, I've sold plenty of these in this last batch, now I'm afraid my customers have experienced this issue and just not telling me, potentially discouraging from purchasing in future.

I absolutely love these wicks. I make hundreds of tea lights and they always burn perfectly with an amazing hot throw.

Love these clean and even burning wicks. We made 1000's of tea lights every year and we have had nothing but amazing results from this wick.

Don’t like

I don’t care for these wicks for the tea light candles, they burn too hot in my opinion, please bring back the TL 15 wicks for soy tealights

Shortage to my wicks

I usually don’t write reviews but I’m a little disturbed because I’ve shopped with this company since 2013 when my business launched. I just recently ordered these wicks and I ordered 2 packs of 100 pieces and only received 97 wicks in one pack. I have not yet counted the second bag but now I’m short 3 wicks for my 100 piece tealights.

Not only this is a concern the wax has definitely CHANGED even though their supplier says nothing’s changed we make candles daily and know when a batch is different.

I’m looking for GW Brand 435 once I find it, I’m going to have to part with this company unfortunately.

Using Golden Brands 444. These are perfect for the plastic tealight containers. Such a great way to make sample sets for customers. They have been a huge hit for us and burn perfect!
