For a similar candle dye we recommend our Red Dye Blocks. It is more concentrated, so you can use less of the dye block to achieve the same color as the dye chips. Our dye chips are packed in foil bags that virtually eliminate color from bleeding through the bag and staining other surfaces. Fragrance Oil Recommendations: Cinnamon Buns, Cinnamon Stick, Cranberry Marmalade, Macintosh Apple, Red Hot Cinnamon Made in the USA
Directions:
The candle in the picture was made with 1 dye chip in a pound of IGI 4794 paraffin wax. For soy, parasoy, or other natural waxes you may need to use 2 or more chips to achieve a similar color.

Add dye chips to wax at 185 degrees or higher to ensure they'll dissolve completely.

Gorgeous Vibrant Red in EcoSoya CB Advanced Soy

I used 1.75 chips per pound of EcoSoya CB Advanced & got the most vibrant fire engine red I've seen in this wax without frosting. Great bright red; I'm impressed!

BOLD color in SOY wax!

I heated GBS 464 to 185 then added two dye chips and the color is outstanding!

WOW!

I'm new to candle making and this was the first time I've used color chips and I am very happy with the results! I used one chip in 1lb IGI 6006 and it came out perfectly! I was hoping for a lighter red since I used a soy blend and it came out exactly how I pictured. I would call it a medium red. Not super bold but not light enough to be pink. Exactly what I was going for. Will definitely be repurchasing!
