Orange Candle dye block Color Swatch
Choose a Variant

Candle dye blocks produce vibrant colors in both soy and paraffin waxes, and are an easy way to add a unique touch to your candles, melts, and tarts. Break them in half or cut into smaller pieces for lighter shades. You can also experiment with adding single dye blocks to different amounts of wax for a variety of custom shades. Our candle dye blocks are packaged in foil bags that prevent color from bleeding through to other surfaces.

Usage:

  • 1 full block per 2 pounds (0.9 kg) of soy wax
  • 1 full block per 4 pounds (1.8 kg) of paraffin wax

Fragrance Oil Recommendations: Mango and Coconut Milk, Orange Pomander, Peach Nectar, Orange Blossom, Sparkling Grapefruit, Jamaica Me Crazy

Rich Yellow

I agree with Elisha. I’m using the soy and paraffin blend from candle science and the color is like a rich yellow. However when I used this with paraffin harmony wax the color was orange. I hope this helps others.

Dye Blocks are vibrant

I love the dye blocks and its strong color presence mixes well with the soy wax. My candles always look vibrant.

No complaints

Colors soy wax very effectively. Strong, bright orange.

Another disappointment

I've been trying really hard to become "candlescience only" for my supplies, but the color blocks are just not doing it for me. This one is another disappointment, with the actual color in unscented soy wax being more yellow (honestly, comparable to the color of the stars of these reviews) than orange, not at all like the web picture and swatch on the package.

I havent bought this before but......

The price on these seems ridiculous, compared to the Reddings Glow Chips

Hi! Thank you for the feedback! There is a price difference compared to what the dye chips were. However, the dye blocks are a higher concentration of dye so you can color more wax with the dye blocks and you will get a more vibrant color than most of the dye chips. Let us know what you think if you decide to try them!
