Our Golden Honey Liquid Candle Dye for candle wax produces a color ranging from golden honey to burnished amber depending on the type of wax and amount of dye used. In soy wax, our golden honey candle dye generally produces light to medium shades; whereas paraffin wax can range from pastel to deep shades. We encourage you to experiment.

Good dye, I liked everything. But I have a question on what hour I can not find the answer anywhere. What is the shelf life and date of manufacture of liquid dyes?

Niiiiiiiice

So ive experimented with this dye using 50/50 MP117 and 464 soy and I must say the candles came out smooth and creamy like a warm caramel and a golden peanut buttery brown. 4 drops for one batch and 6 for the other. This is my favorite color so far.

Very thick

Love the color using 464. Unfortunately, it is extremely thick and causes a huge mess.

Decent Color

Color Looks good, however upon opening bottle the dye came out very thick where one thick drop is almost same as adding 3-4 drops... Ordering many candle making products from this website. Overall color is good but this specific dye came out bad and almost as thick as honey..

Consistency

The color is fine no odor at all but the consistency is like syrup like consistently, I order 3 other colors and none of them are like that. They are liquid and that make really easy control the amount use. I really don’t know if I got a bad one or is supposed to be like that

Hi There! Thank you for taking the time to leave a product review for the Golden Honey Liquid Dye. We're sorry to hear that you've had some trouble with your dye. Many of us here are makers as well, so we certainly know how frustrating that can be. Our Golden Honey Liquid Dye does have a thicker consistency and won't slosh around as much in the bottle compared to some of our lighter and more vibrant dye options. Due to it being a bit denser, it will be especially important to add your dye at 185F degrees and stir them into your mixture to help ensure it integrates completely with your wax and fragrance. We hope this helps, but if you have other questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected].
