Revision Notice:

As of February 8, 2022, our Golden Honey Liquid Candle Dye has been revised to meet our stringent safety standards. Just like CandleScience Clean Scents™, our new liquid candle dyes go above and beyond Prop 65 requirements by excluding a wide range of ingredients known to be harmful to human health, which means these candle dyes are free from carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive toxins, organ toxins, and acute toxins.

Our Golden Honey Liquid Candle Dye for candle wax produces a color ranging from golden honey to burnished amber depending on the type of wax and amount of dye used. In soy wax, our golden honey candle dye generally produces light to medium shades; whereas paraffin wax can range from pastel to deep shades. We encourage you to experiment.

Consistency

The color is fine no odor at all but the consistency is like syrup like consistently, I order 3 other colors and none of them are like that. They are liquid and that make really easy control the amount use. I really don’t know if I got a bad one or is supposed to be like that

Hi There! Thank you for taking the time to leave a product review for the Golden Honey Liquid Dye. We're sorry to hear that you've had some trouble with your dye. Many of us here are makers as well, so we certainly know how frustrating that can be. Our Golden Honey Liquid Dye does have a thicker consistency and won't slosh around as much in the bottle compared to some of our lighter and more vibrant dye options. Due to it being a bit denser, it will be especially important to add your dye at 185F degrees and stir them into your mixture to help ensure it integrates completely with your wax and fragrance. We hope this helps, but if you have other questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to us at support@candlescience.com.
