Vanilla Eggnog Fragrance Oil
Choose a Variant

For many, the holiday season isn’t complete without a splash of homemade, spiked eggnog, and our Vanilla Eggnog fragrance oil doesn’t hold back on the nog. Heavy on amaretto and rum, this creamy scent has an added dash of vanilla, butter, and sugar for a rich and delicious gourmand fragrance.

We recommend this fragrance for creamy candles, wax melts, and tarts. While approved for soap and scrubs, be aware that as a vanilla fragrance there may be discoloration to bath and body creations.

This fragrance is infused with essential oils, including clove leaf, cedarwood, nutmeg, eucalyptus, cardamom, orange sweet, and pine.

Blends well with: Coffee Shop, Strawberries and Cream, Butterscotch and Bourbon, Iced Gingersnap, Pumpkin Spice Buttercream, Black Cardamom and Cream

Alternative branding ideas: Holiday Eggnog, Spiked Eggnog

AMAZING hot AND cold throw in GB 464!!

I originally bought the vanilla eggnog fragrance oil to make a new holiday lip balm scent. It literally smelled like I was wearing a candle on my lips – it would not have been a best seller!
So I used it in my soy candles – it’s EXCELLENT! I have been using only Candle Science fragrance oils and GB 464 soy wax since I started making candles years ago. I have my favorite scents and this is the ONLY one that I have ever gotten such strong hot AND cold throw from! It’s amazing. The lid is never on this candle – I’m so impressed by the cold throw. It’s a great every day scent and holiday scent. I heat the GB 464 to 187 degrees, then add 10% fragrance (and a dye block when needed) and stir for 2 minutes, then pour at 137. I make 22 oz jar candles with 2 Eco 14 6” wicks in each. I then wait a full 7 days before burning and first burn is for at least 4 hours.
It does smell like vanilla eggnog to me, but doubles as a sugar cookie scent. I've never written a review on this site before and felt compelled to do so. It’s an outstanding product – excellent job, Candle Science!

Fruit Cake?

I had trouble with acceleration like I mentioned in another review (couldn't edit).
After cutting the soap, I realized that I had what looked and smelled like the perfect fruit cake soap!!! Very very happy with the outcome!!

Accelerates

I had a really hard time with this in cold process soap. I love the scent though! Just beware that it might accelerate or seize in cold process. I mixed with just a tad bit of whiskey fragrance, I'm sure that didn't help performanc!

smells good, but...

Made my tester, cured it for a couple of weeks, and did a test burn today. It had a decent hot throw and it smells good, but it doesn't smell like eggnog. I'll be blending this or naming it something else.

Far better in a candle than OOTB

When I first sniffed it, I didn't really care for the scent, but then I put it in a candle and it made a night and day difference! It not exactly 'eggnog' but it does have real holiday vibes and smells so yummy. I also did one 50/50 with Black Cardamom and Cream and that is absolutely heavenly, it's my current favorite candle.

Holiday Vibes of Course!

I blended this fragrance with Christmas Hearth for holiday candles and my family and friends thought I knocked it out of the park. I think it could definitely stand on its own if you enjoy sweet only, but blended with wood and other accords there is added depth. I will purchase again winter candles.

Mmmm...Cookies!

Upon my first use, I immediately smell Iced Oatmeal Cookies, and it's in a Oatmeal base! I actually smell the icing! Love it! 💜

Very good but . .

not an eggnog scent to me. I smell cookies in there. I call mine - VANILLA BISCOTTI ♥️

Smells like…

Smells exactly like how you think an eggnog candle would smell. Like vanilla spice with a bit of caramel.
