IGI 4630 Harmony Blend Wax is a single-pour, fully refined paraffin wax for containers and tealights. This wax adheres well to containers, and creates a smooth, opaque, and slightly glossy finished candle. No additional additives are needed—just add fragrance and color.
Packaged in slab form, IGI 4630 is soft and easy to cut for use. The weight on slabbed wax can vary slightly. Cases contain four slabs of wax packaged together in a reinforced cardboard box.
Candle Maker's Notes: Glass adhesion is sometimes tricky. We recommend experimenting with different pour temperatures (+/-5°F, or 2.8°C) and preheating jars prior to pouring the wax.
Tunneling can also occur on the first few burns, so we recommend trying at least 3-4 burn cycles before making any conclusions. Paraffin waxes tend to burn down in early burns before spreading out to a full melt pool. If you're still seeing burn issues, try a different wick size.
Paraffin waxes tend to have darker soot over soy when burning. If you're experiencing excessive soot, we recommend testing different wick sizes, or double wicking in larger containers (3.3"/8.4 cm diameter or larger).
