Fine fragrance is scent designed to be worn, experienced, and lived with. Unlike home fragrance products that scent a space, fine fragrance products are formulated for personal use, allowing customers to express their style, mood, and identity through scent.

How to Make Perfume Learn how to make perfume and body spray in these easy to follow tutorials.
Crafting your own signature body spray or perfume is surprisingly simple. Just choose an EcoBase and add the fine fragrance of your choice to create a custom scent in minutes.
We use the CandleScience EcoBase™ Fine Fragrance Base (water-based) in the perfume tutorial, but it can also be used for the Perfume Oil Base.
How to label perfumes
Perfumes and body mists in the U.S. are regulated by the Food and Drug Administration, so packaging must comply with specific cosmetic labeling guidelines that include:
- Identity and Net Volume. State what the product is (Body Mist, Eau de Parfum, Perfume Oil, etc.) and its volume in both fluid ounces and milliliters on the front or main label.
- Ingredients Declaration. List ingredients in descending order of predominance, using their standard cosmetic names.
- Contact Information. Include your business name, city, state, and zip code.
Labeling Pro Tip: Skip standard paper labels and choose oil- and water-resistant BOPP or vinyl labels with a protective laminate to keep your products looking their best!
