We experienced a moderate amount of acceleration and no separation. We stick blended to a light trace and found that it quickly accelerated to a thick trace. The batter didn’t stiffen as we poured it into the mold but it was already too thick to pour smoothly. We gave the mold a few hard tamps on the counter to settle it into the mold and used a spatula to smooth the top. After 24 hours the soap discolored dark yellow around the edges while the inside remained a light yellow. We observed the soap bars had almost reached a full gel and the scent was strong. After 30 days, the soap discolored to a bright yellow around the edges while the inside remained a tan shade. The scent faded slightly but kept the nice pear notes.
