Red Liquid Soap Dye
Choose a Variant

Traditionally, red is associated with power, romance, and strength. Incorporate powerful shades of this color into your next soap project. Use with a white melt and pour soap base to achieve a shade close to rose red, or with a clear base to produce a bolder ruby red. Your actual experience may vary depending on your use of the base and the dye’s saturation. We encourage you to experiment and find the best combination to fit your needs. In the example images, we used two drops per pound (454 g) of soap base.

Usage Recommendations:

  • Usage: 2-3 drops/lb (454 g)
  • Shake well before use
  • For melt & pour soap, lotions, and water-soluble bath products
  • Not for bath bomb products
  • Not for lip products

Note: This product is not recommended for cold or hot process soap. Color morphing may occur.

Very vibrant

I shake up the bottle really well and massage it so it heats up a bit and then I only need to use one or two drops for whatever project I'm making. Makes this worth it to buy because I know it is going to last so long! Works in bath bombs too!

A little disappointed

I made a M&P Triple butter soap for my grandson using the Red Vibrant Liquid Dye. I tested it and oh my.... it bleeds so bad. I’m not sure it if would do this in clear soap but I do wish Candlescience would have mention something about this, other than just stating that it would be a more vibrant color in clear glycerine. Nothing was stated that is was a bleeding color. I still like their products. But would not recommend this for white M&P soap base.
