Why sunflower wax?
Sunflower wax is a vegan and scent-neutral alternative to beeswax made from sunflower seeds.

1 lb Heat-Safe Bags
Our custom wax is offered in 1 lb heat-safe, BPA-free bags for testing. No metal pouring pitcher is needed.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Frosting? Reduce the amount of fragrance to reduce the amount of frosting.
  • Sinking? A second pour is often needed, especially with larger pillars.
  • Melt pool struggles? You may need to wick up.
  • Wick Issues? We’ve found that CD and ECO wicks are more prone to curling with this wax. We recommend LX wicks. See our wick guide.
  • See our lab notes for additional tips and tricks.

I just keep coming back to this one...
Jess B. 2026-01-28

I've tried just about every tart wax on the market. At one point, I was so fed up with the results I was getting from soy wax that I tried paraffin. But I have to say, this has been the best tart wax I've used in years. For a while now I've been making my own blend of 3 different waxes, but this has eliminated the need for that. It has excellent CT/HT and my customers are loving it. It's easy to work with, but slightly soft when using silicone tart molds. This is the ideal wax for people who use plastic tart packs. I make snap bars in silicone molds and occasionally one or two will snap when removing, but mostly it's flawless.

Best wax for wax melts
Michelle Little 2025-09-28

I tried a few different percentages 13%, 17% and 20% I really like the 20% the scent was super strongs I am waiting on them to cure for 14 days to check the scent! So I will write another review then. But so far the wax is easy to work with for wax melts

Not the best for detailed flower pillar candles
Melanie R. 2025-09-25

I love the soft, smooth and shiny finish. I just don’t like that my peonies break with this wax and my peonies are my main item. I use to make my own blend of coconut and soy until I stumbled upon this wax. Saves me so much time and money. My roses that have thicker petals come out flawless. I will try to add some vybar to see if that helps. 5 stars for fast shipping and quality like always.

Excellent, except for tree molds with details
Sonia Jimenez 2025-09-09

I have been making my molded candles with this wax, and it has been a unique experience. The candles that I don't color remain white and have a natural shine. All the molded candles I've made with this wax are beautiful, except for my Christmas trees with details, because small pieces of wax stick to the edges, and I haven't found a way to make them come out right. I even combined it with 10% beeswax, and it turned out worse; they came out the same, but immediately became stained white on the outside. I would like a specialist to contact me and recommend a wax for these types of molds, providing details, as I have had to waste material, money, and time. Thank you.

Hi Sonia! Thank you for your review, though we're sorry to hear you've been having a time with CocoSol in the more detailed molds that you're using. Frequently, soy-based waxes will be too brittle to use on their own or as the dominant wax for highly detailed, intricate molds, but we'd love to take a look at exactly what you're experiencing so that we can best assist. Great wax for pillars
Nicole B 2025-08-25

I have been testing this wax as a pillar to use as a refillable option for my line in my hydrostone jars. The mold I use is 3" wide. So far the LX 28 wick has been my go to and works well. I haven't had any soot which is really important to me since my jars are refillables. I used a fragrance from Simbi at an 8 percent load and it filled my larger open living area with a beautiful lavender scent.

My next test is with a 4 inch wide mold and 3 lx18's.

So far I'm super happy and will be ordering more.
