Floral Spring Inspired Projects
Spring is a season that invites creativity—fresh beginnings, longer days, and colorful flowers beginning to bloom.
For makers, it’s a season to lean into light, floral fragrances and projects that celebrate softness, color, and detail. With our In Bloom fragrance flight, we have created three spring-inspired projects sure to help your creativity bloom.
Wax Melt Flower Bouquet wax + fragrance oil + dye
Transform flower wax melts into an eye-catching floral bouquet.

To create this wax melt bouquet, pour each flower-shaped melt separately, poke a skewer into the bottom of each cooled flower, then arranged together into a container to create the look of a bouquet. We chose a soft pastel color palette to create a bouquet that feels light, airy, and unmistakably spring.
The result is both decorative and functional—simply pluck a flower from the arrangement and place it in a warmer to enjoy the fragrance.
For alternative packaging ideas, try creating a long stem bouquet and wrap it with floral wrapping paper.

Floral Soap melt and pour soap + fragrance oil + micas
This melt and pour soap project features realistic floral embeds arranged on a clean, white soap base.

Create floral soap embeds, add them to your empty soap mold after cooling, and then pour the melted soap to fill the mold. For smaller embeds that will sit mostly on top (like the leaves we used), place them just as the soap begins to cool on the surface.
Because the embeds are created separately for this project, you can experiment with soft pink tones, subtle gradients, or multicolored blooms.

Flower Embed Candle wax + fragrance oil + dye
Capture the beauty of spring flowers with this simple, yet stunning floral candle.

Pour your basic candle leaving enough space for the height of your embeds and allow the wax to cool. To secure the embeds, either arrange them on the candle's surface and pour a thin layer of wax to set them, or use a heat gun to melt the top layer of wax and place the embeds in.
The key to this design is balance: keeping the base wax clean and simple so the floral embeds remain the focal point.
If you plan on burning, always be sure to burn test.
