Overall nice collection
Kalidava 2025-11-15

Water Lily: smells like fabric softener. I don't hate it, but it doesn't appeal to me. It might be better in a blend but I haven't played around with it yet.

Enoki Forest: I've used it in multiple witchy blends and it's a big hit. More dirt forward than Redwoods and Moss but less muddy than Petrichor. I don't think I would use this one alone unless you want a novelty dirt scent. It smells very much like clean forest floor humus, which I personally love.

Gilded Mandarin: popular. Nice alone or blended with others. Having an "Asian" scent that isn't too heavy is great. It made a lovely meditation incense.

Obsidian: this one is neutral, it smells nice but sort of unidentifiable, just earthy but not dirt. I ended up using it in our Dungeons and Dragons inspired collection because I needed something for "true neutral" and this fit the bill. I think it would make a good blender base with some other scents but I haven't experimented with it yet.

Ambered Vanille: instant love for me. Sweet but not candy like or overly feminine. It was nice alone and blended successfully with several other oils in our experiments. I actually liked this one better than either the Vanilla or the Amber scents alone.

Elderflower Aperitif: OOB was kind of off-putting, cloying sweet but with that bit of turpentine and "funk" elderberry flowers and fruit are known for. Softened into a beautiful elderberry wine scent when mixed with Wildberry Mead, so I highly recommend picking up both.

White Peach Blossom: very popular with our customers, particularly in the South. People were thrilled to smell something peach that wasn't fake peach candy scented. This smells more like a real peach tree. I kept back an entire tin for myself XD

Speakeasy: I have mixed feelings about this one. It kind of smells like my Dad? I like it personally but it hasn't sold so far. I'm going to try blending it with another "Gin" scent and see if I can get people to smell the "Speakeasy". I'm tempted to blend it with a novelty "beer" scent from my other supplier and maybe a drop of Smoke Element to see if I can make "dive bar" gag gift candle.

Enjoying this unique fragrance oils set
L.S. 2025-05-17

I really like this Luxury Fragrance Oils set. I was so intrigued by all the new FOs that it made sense to get the whole collection (thank you so much, CS, for offering a discount at launch!). When you’re getting a luxury fragrance oil set, the expectations are pretty high—so when it finally arrives and you have your Christmas-morning moment with it, you might feel like it’s not quite as special as it was hyped up to be. But if you take the time to get to know the oils better, you’ll start to really appreciate their complexity.
I disagree with the reviewer who said these smell the same as other CS fragrances. The quality is consistent, but in my opinion, these FOs are more complex and elevated, which makes them unique and luxurious. I don’t love all of them, but I was pleasantly surprised by quite a few.
Ambered Vanille is the first vanilla fragrance I actually really enjoy. Enoki Forest, Obsidian, and Speakeasy are all unique and smell sophisticated to me. Gilded Mandarin truly does smell regal, and Elderflower Aperitif is delicious—it reminds me of a fancy cocktail.
I probably won’t use all of them, only the ones that fit into certain candle collections I’m working on, but I still think this set was absolutely worth trying. Thank you, CS, for continuing to create new and interesting fragrances. Five stars!

Love these!

These new fragrances are great. Def new and have never smelled them before. I been making candles for years now. There's only one that is off for me. Now that's me. Everyone has a different sniffer so you cant go by what I say alone. But the Elderflower Aperitif. There's an element that stands way way out too far that over powers the other elements. It makes it kind of smell like BO with other nice things lol hubby says cat pee. I always have him smell things without me saying a word because i Need unbiased thoughts. So he noticed it too without me saying anything. Now if that element was toned down it would be realllly nice! I almost wanted to say its the cedar standing out way too far but I'm not convinced its just that because I've smelled a many cedar scents. BUT you must judge for yourself. Hubby says the speakeasy smells just like it should. We both agree it smells great. Like he even was able to call out 4 different elements in it like the different colognes and smoke etc. The rest are all great too! That Ambered Vanille ooo yumm. I really like them all except the elderflower. Also go candlescience for your amazing earthy outdoorsy scents that you've been coming up with over the last year or less. SO great! All your items are always good (been a customer since 2015) but whatever you guys been doing lately for the last year is better. If you can even get any better <3

I'm loving this kit. Amber Vanille is my favorite. I like to blend and this kit is good for it. I don't know if it is a remake or not because I'm new but I will enjoy it.
