About the LX Series
LX wick is a specially braided flat cotton wick which maintains a slight curl when burning. The curl moves the tip of the wick into the hottest part of the flame, which helps to minimize or eliminate carbon buildup (mushrooming), reduce smoking, and provide a 'self-trimming' effect, which creates a very stable and consistent flame. LX wicks are lead and zinc free.

Great for large jars

I love the way LX wicks burn. Especially for wicking larger jars I've had the best luck finding the right size with LX wicks than any other brand.

LX 28 WICKS

This wick works perfectly in my 9oz jars, flame is strong and melts entire wax pool. I also like that it is easy to trim when needed because wick doesn't mushroom and split apart.

Mushrooming

I have tried this wick in many different sizes and it always seems to mushroom ! Looking for any advise to help with this all recommendations appreciated.

Mushroom top

I love wick size and using them when making the candles but the do mushroom at the top every single time. When I trim it is just happens again and little black pieces get everywhere

Mushroom

This wick mushroom very fast, in about 2 hours of candle testing.
