This version of Magenta Liquid Dye is now 25% off the listed price. The discount will be reflected in your shopping cart.

Magenta Liquid Dye for candle wax produces a color ranging from light to dark magenta depending on usage. Your actual experience may vary depending on what type of wax you use and the amount of dye used. We encourage you to experiment.

In soy, deep, rich colors are challenging and standard dye amounts create a washed-out, pastel color. They require 2-3 times the dye that paraffin requires, sometimes more.

  • A 1 oz bottle can color up to 100 lb of soy wax or 200 lb paraffin to a medium shade.
  • A 4 oz bottle can color up to 400 lbs of soy wax or 800 lbs to a medium shade.

Fragrance Oil Recommendations: Black Raspberry Vanilla, Cactus Flower and Jade, Cranberry Apple Marmalade, Cranberry Woods

Note: Due to the extreme concentration of our liquid dyes there is a noticeable odor that will not be detectable at normal usages in finished candles.

Great Color

I used this color with my holiday Cranberry candle. The color is awesome! I use GB444 and it worked great. Someone saw the candles and said, "thats a perfect magenta!"

Gorgeous Color

I used this color dye for the Raspberry Sangria FO. One drop for a beautiful raspberry color (I use GB 464). Definitely recommend and hope this helps

Nice and dark

This magenta is a nice and dark, concentrated red/purple/pink color (the image looks almost red on my monitor, but in real life it's a dark magenta with hints of purple/pink as you might expect). I've mixed it with yellow at a 1:1 ratio to achieve a red color, and you could probably even use more yellow to make it more of an orange-ish red. As I noted in my review of the red dye, I think this mix is a better option than the red dye, especially for soy wax where CS's red dye seems a bit too weak. I'm sure it would also work well as a magenta hue as-is, though I've only used it for blending.

Wild Wonderful Magenta!

Absolutely stunning deep magenta, our go-to dye for so many FOs with EcoSoy. Pair with red for a glowing essence. Add a few drops of orange to create a fun cranberry hue. For those who think basic red is boring, THIS is your color! Magenta never disappoints!
