Our dye chips are packed in foil bags that virtually eliminate color from bleeding through the bag and staining other surfaces. Fragrance Oil Recommendations: Golden Rose, Honeysuckle Jasmine, Lemon Pound Cake, Lemon Verbena Made in the USA
Directions:
The candle in the picture was made with 1 dye chip in a pound of IGI 4794 paraffin wax. For soy, parasoy, or other natural waxes you may need to use 2 or more chips to achieve a similar color.
Add dye chips to wax at 185 degrees or higher to ensure they'll dissolve completely.

I am usually satisfied with the dye chips. Pretty straight forward. First of all, I wanted a vibrant lemon yellow for a Limoncello candle I am making and this was as close as I could get. When the dye chip is in solid state it looks more like the gold dye chip having a brownish hue. I tried adding a little of the aqua marine to see if I could get a brighter yellow. When it was starting to cure I got this awesome bright lemon yellow. Once it fully cured the color went to a pastel soft yellow with a mottled bland beige almost pink that came through. Almost like frosting but just splotchy. Used GB 464.
I guess if you want a pastel yellow this could work fine but not what I was hoping for. Just be aware there is a pinky beige component that can surface. .
