Our large cupcake soap mold is made from food grade plastic and can be used with melt & pour soap bases as well as cold process soap. This mold makes two cupcake shaped soaps that are each 4.5 ounces (weighted). Instructions: To complete the finished look, remove all pieces from the mold. Melt 1 oz of any soap base. Spray the top surface of the bottom portion of the cupcake liberally with alcohol. Pour a nickel-sized amount of hot liquid soap into center. Quickly spray the bottom of the frosting portion with rubbing alcohol and place on top of the bottom cupcake piece. Press firmly for 20-30 seconds to ensure the two pieces will stick together. Repeat for remaining pieces. Allow to set undisturbed for 24 hours in a cool, dry area. Then wrap tightly with plastic wrap or airtight container. We recommend allowing your soap to cool for 24 hours for easier removal from the mold. If the soap won't release, place the mold in your freezer for 30-40 minutes and try again. We also recommend pouring your soap base at a maximum of 145°F. It's best to hand wash the mold with warm soapy water. Cleaning in the dishwasher or with hot water can warp the mold.
