Produced from US grown soybeans, Golden Brands 444 soy wax is a container wax that contains a soy-based additive that reduces frosting. Additionally, Golden Brands 444 has a higher melt point than 464 wax which allows the candles to hold their shape better in warm weather.

Sink Holes and Dents.
VeeB 2025-05-04

I have been making candles for a few years and wonder why my candles always have sink holes or lumps in the top of my candles. I transitioned from using 464 however, is there a secret behind burning this soy wax? I melt to 185 and pour at 135.

So disappointed!!
Jennifer 2025-02-24

I’ve been in the candle business for years and decided to try this wax after reading so many positive reviews. I am heating to 185 and pouring at 135. No matter what I do, they cure with holes, pits, dimples and just rough looking tops. Could someone plz tell me what the magic secret is with this wax??

Hopeful
Bryauna 2025-02-13

I've been using 464 for 5 years, but now that I live somewhere where the summers are super hot, I decided to try the 444 for the better stability. I'm hopeful, but so far I'm having trouble with the wax being super rough on top after burning! It is a little dimply after pouring and setting, which is easy to fix with a quick blast of the heat gun, but after doing some wick testing, all my tester candles are super rough on top once the wax is cooled again. Am I doing something wrong? I've never had this happen before - been making soy wax candles (with 464) for 5 years!

I love it

I’m new to the candle business. I started out using the 464 but switched to the 444. I love it. I use 9-10%FO. I was using CD12 wicks and experienced some mushroom but HT amazing. The Wick guide suggested I should use 14 instead. Going to try

Good HT Excellent CT but short burn time

I generally use FO at 9% with this wax. I've tried different pouring temps but still have to use a heat gun for the tops as they're never perfect enough lol. I've noticed this wax burns down a lot faster than 464. I use it to combat the summer heat.
