For a similar candle dye we recommend our Avocado Dye Blocks. It is more concentrated, so you can use less of the dye block to achieve the same color as the dye chips. Our dye chips are packed in foil bags that virtually eliminate color from bleeding through the bag and staining other surfaces. Fragrance Oil Recommendations: Cool Citrus Basil ,Cucumber Melon, Green Tea and Lemongrass, Holly Berry, Honeydew Melon, Bamboo and Coconut, Peppermint and Eucalyptus WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including aniline and C.I. Solvent Yellow 14, which are known to the State of California to cause cancer. For more information, go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov. Made in the USA
Directions:
The candle in the picture was made with 1 dye chip in a pound of IGI 4794 paraffin wax. For soy, parasoy, or other natural waxes you may need to use 2 or more chips to achieve a similar color.
Add dye chips to wax at 185 degrees or higher to ensure they'll dissolve completely.

As other reviews have said, it is impossible to achieve an avocado color (like what is pictured) in soy. I tried up to 5 chips in one pound and still only came out with a pale green. 1-2 chips is barely more than white!
Used 4 chips per pound of GB464 Soy, still only a pastel shade of yellow-green that is more yellow than green. Even if you increase to 6 chips per pound you might get a nice chartreuse, but I cannot see how the avocado green pictured could be achieved in soy using this dye chip.
Used 2 chips per pound of GB464 Soy and there is only a hint of green in the finished candle. It is a nice yellow-green, just be prepared to use lots more than recommended to achieve a color anywhere near the sample on the website.
I ordered these and could not use they just melt away leaving no color at all in the wax. Disappointed.
Following my issue with the Avocado dye chips, I just wanted to thank Candle Science for their response and the fix to my issue. I love Candle Science products and I really appreciate the problem solving. 5 stars all the way!
I ordered a 100 piece bag of Avocado chips for a large order I was making for a client. The chips did not release any color, they frittered away in the wax leaving a residue in the wax. I used some pellets that I had ordered prior to that and they colored the candles although not as dark as they previously had. Now a third of the large order I am making is not useable and I am going to have to reorder wax, fragrance, tins and color to finish the order.
I used two dye chips and was left with NO color in my candles! Very disappointed.
This color is much more split pea soup than avocado. We were disappointed that it dried with a brownish hue.
We needed a color to go with our cucumber melon scent and I spotted this in your list and grabbed it. We poured our product last night using this color dye chip and it was perfect! The color and scent pair up perfectly!
I used about 2 chips, i used it for Cucumber melon fragrance. Worked out great
