Pretty but very fragile

I love the tureen jars. They look very elegant, and would suggest purchasing the gold lids to give an elevated look. My only issue is that during shipping a lot of the jars were broken. Candle Science is sending me more free of charge but is inconvenient to have to wait for more. Also the sides are not as prominent as pictured.

great jars

Hi, I am testing GB 464 enhanced soy container wax and a Hemp 7" wick to see what happens, the flame is very low it burns well but the first day I burned for 4hrs and all looked well, then today on Sunday I started it again and the sides have the wax around and there is a well in the middle, what I want to ask, is the wax I'm using good for the mentioned wicks here for this Jar? I know the Help wick is maybe to small it should get all the sides in a couple of hours when testing am I right about that? I've been doing research but no one is using this jar. Although I am using this wax for my melts and they burn very well and scented with cinnabun scent. Thank you

Ps: the jar does not get hot after a few hours it's great.

Impossible to wick

The jars are very beautiful but I should have listened to the reviews when everyone says they are hard to wick. I have tried the recommended wicks, have tried to wick up, and even went by the wick guide too but they still have been constantly tunneling (as well as the 3 oz jars). I am using the harmony 4630 blend and not sure if I should continue wicking up or try another series. I have tried the LX 22 and LX 24 and both create tunneling yet the flame is big which is causing sooting. Any suggestions?

Hi there! A member of our Support Team will reach out via email shortly!

so we have tried cd 18 wicks and after an hr it melts the gb444 wax all the way to the edge going to be trying cd 20 and see if it improves burn. But fairly satisfied with how the cd 18 works

Has anyone figured out a wick

I love these jars. Aesthetically speaking- they’re great. As far as figuring out what to wick these with I’m at a loss. I’m using 464 and I’m running into problem after problem. I’ve had to switch jars to something I like less.

Broken Glass

I had broken jars in 1 of my 3 cases. Very satisfied with everything but wondering if I can be reimbursed or sent a new case. I have pictures if needed. Other than that I have had wonderful experiences with CandleScience.

The 8 oz Tureen Jars are our signature jar

We love the 8 oz Tureen Jars. It has been difficult to find a wick solution for the GW464 wax. I have tested and tested different wicks (CD, HTP, RRD, ECO, etc.) I have been satisfied with the 8 oz. Tureen with GW464 with ECO-8 double wicked. It's the only wick and wax combo I can find (so far) that burns evenly to the edge of the glass after about 2 hours. I also ad 1/2 tbsp of universal soy wax additive per lb of wax to prevent the wax pool from burning down too quickly. I get the "universal soy additive" from the candle makers store. But Candle Science may have their own version of the additive. The additive is the key - without it the wax pool gets too hot and burns down too fast. I hope this info is helpful for anyone out there dealing with the loss of Eco Soya. ~ Ceili at OCC

Not just for candles

I actually use these to store the body butter i make. Glass is far more suitable than plastic for foaming body butters and the silver twist top lids look amazing. Super elegant and holds a lot of product.

Lovely jar, but dissapointing

I love this jar, but when I looked at my jars, the little handles were very faint. Almost like little bumps on the side which is really strange. I thought they would protrude more like in the picture. Also, the wick guide suggested CD 22 for GW464 wax, but the flame was way too big and flickering a lot. Going to try CD 20 and hope that works.

Cd24 works perfectly with this jar and gives a lot of burning hours

My customers have lined up for this jar. I found the perfect pedestal to place it on. Very difficult to wick with soy. I have cd2 double wicked uneven pooling, the same with cd4 double wick. Cd6 double wick burned to fast as did double CD 14. I am now trying single CD 24. When I come up with a solution I will post. I have tried 7 different combos. If anyone else is using soy and has solved wick issues, please post

I’ve tryed Eco 16, double Eco 10 ( burns too fast) double Eco 8(burns too fast), Eco 6, now I’m trying double Eco 4. Very discouraging!! Any other suggestions Candlescience? I use GB464

I love this jar but more important is that my customers love this jar. Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These jars are awesome!

I just started using these jars and I personally thought they were cute but wasn't sure how they would do with my customers. Turns out they were a huge hit! Everyone thought they were super cute (which they totally are) and my candles have been selling like wildfire since I made the switch to these jars. Plus the glass is pretty thick too. I 100% recommend these jars to anyone looking to buy them.

Great Jars

I love these jars for by business. Amazing!

Wick size

I also had a difficult time finding the right wick size. I finally settled on a double wick ECO 2 for a para soy blend. I would imaging Soy would be difficult to wick. But I love them...they are ADORABLE

This is a great jar. It is easy to decorate for and theme. However, if used for oil based products it will leak. Can't seem to get a seal on the lid and jar. I don't use it for mail order items.

This is a great looking jar especially with the lids. But, it's been hard to find the right wick size. I use 464 soy and have used the Eco 16 wick and it does not burn evenly. Although the jar has a section that is 4 in diameter, the look of the jar does not look right if you were to use two wicks. What suggestion do you have for wicking the 8 ounce tureen

Love the look - need to know what material this is...

I'm trying to find out an appropriate metal stamp for the top of this lid for my logo of my candle business - I need to know what material this lid is made from - any help?

Love the look! Very chic.
