Glass 8 oz. Tureen Jar

Tureens have a long history, but more recently they've been used as elegant containers to serve fruit or soup. Our tureen's are perfect for an elegant candle and pair with our #82 twist top lids. The 8 oz. is the largest jar in our Tureen line. We also carry a 3 oz. Tureen.

Note: Labeling the containers is difficult due to the shape of the jar. We recommend labeling the lid instead.

Broken

These vessels are so adorable! Only thing is a few came broken. I did reach out to customer service just waiting for a response. But they are perfect for the project I’m working on.

I've been using these for years - wicks sometimes do not adhere

My customers LOVE these jars - they're different and they also do well in transit.
I use wick stickers and sometimes the wicks come loose - I've also run into instances when the wax gets low, the wick will start drifting toward the edge.
CD18 seems to be perfect - CD 22 burns too hot and the wax pool is too much.
I use 464 and 8% fragrance.

Trouble with wicks

These Jars are BEAUTIFUL, but after reading the reviews about the wicks not sticking, I decided to purchase anyways. I made sure to dry the jars completely by using my heat gun, and I can say it made a huge difference. Thank you ,

Owner

I have using these jars since last 3 years. Love these jars and so do our customers. All those jars and only 1(one) broken jar in all these years and got a replacement asap from CS,, Great customer service.

Meh

The picture showed these as bigger (taller) than what they are, and the little loops are not defined like they are in the picture either. Theyre also thin walled and feel fragile, but the tops screw on really secure so thats a plus. As for wicking, we usually double wick our candles anyways, and have never had a problem, im sure it varies from wax type and wick type, but thats an easy one to figure out. Just be careful when opening the boxes as youre bound to have at least one broken, and glass shards can get all over the place.

Durable and cute

I’ve been impressed with how durable these jars are which has been a huge plus for my e-commerce business since they seem to be able to hold up well in transit. They are difficult to wick with soy wax like the other reviews have stated. I’ve tried several different variations. The CD22 will form a full melt pool with a lot of patience (first burn almost two hours) which is too long for some people. I prefer double wicking with CD8 which does burn faster, cutting down on the overall burn time but it’s the best option I’ve found in my testing at this point.

Tunneling

The jars are beautiful, would love to continue using them. however, there is tunneling at the bottom. I used the suggested ECO 10 with my 415 Soy wax. Anybody find a wick solution for the 415 soy?

Satisfied

Exceptionally satisfied with the 8oz Tureen Jar. Provides great presentation for my Body Butter. Along with a 3” round label, presentation is professionally quick and simple yet elegant in the design of the Tureen jar. Order well packaged, timely shipped and received just as ordered.

Entrepreneur

Just want to help someone out. I use 6006 add fragrance at 185 stir full 2 minutes and wick with eco 8. I have a shelf in my living room. Coming down the stairs, the ct is amazing. However remember all scents are not as strong as others. So testing them is a requirement. Don't just assume. Plus these jars are so versatile 😍

The issue with this

I have tried every wick suggested for this jar and Issa NO, thought my house was gonna catch on fire lol. Therefore I came up with using CD 18 with 2 wicks to make the melt pool and scent throw better. They’re beautiful jars but complex.... you gotta find what works best for you and cd18 with 2 wicks works great for me. Hopes this helps someone.
