Okay so I still love these jars, I just need to take back what I said about wick testing! CD4 works great with 464 in this jar and I've had nothing but wonderful words from my customers who have bought this size from me. Despite its little size, they still pack a strong punch and they are a hit. This size is perfect for stocking stuffers or for customers who don't want to commit to larger candles.

These little candle jars are awesome, especially for those who don't want to commit to a larger, more expensive candle. However, be sure to run burn tests using multiple wicks. I've done several burn tests using GB 464 wax at a 9% fragrance load using the CD4 (suggested on this page for 464 users) and the ECO4 (suggested using the wick guide). I have noticed in every 4-hour run, the CD4 wick GREATLY underperforms. The ECO4 wick burns so much better, you reach a full melt pool within an hour and a half after lighting, and you aren't left with any left over wax on the side of the jar. On the other hand, the CD4 flame is barely there and I can't even reach a full melt pool in the first three hours of the burn. TL;DR, if you're using GB 464 with these jars, try out ECO4 before you try out CD4.
