Great time saving until...it leaked

It's a great time-saving device for a hobbyist candlemaker like me. I like the external padding for safety and the efficiency of melting a substantial amount of wax and maintaining a set temperature. It operated perfectly for 8 months until it began leaking from the external nut attached to the spigot. I tried emptying out the melted wax to tighten the internal nut to prevent additional leakage, but to no avail - wax continued leaking onto the countertop.

Best thing since sliced bread

I used this wax melter for the first time this past weekend, and it is a game changer. Before, I used a turkey roaster to melt my wax in large amounts, and it was imprecise, slow, and very messy.

This thing worked like a charm. A little drippy after you close the ball valve, but I just put a paper towel under it to catch the drips, and viola!!!

Worth every penny.

I love the new wax melter, I can make more candles faster and it’s a great value. When getting to the bottom of the pot, you will have to tip the melter to get all of the melted wax out, It’s easy to use and store – perfect for my little home operation!

Life changer!

I started making candles in 2009. I can't believe that I used pouring pots and hit plates and STRUGGLED to keep wax at a constant temp while working. Thank you so much for offering an affordable wax melter.
I am impressed with the sturdiness and ease of use. The only improvements that I would suggest is a lower spigot so that tipping the pot isn't necessary, and a digital temperature control knob. With those items the price may go up some but will be well worth it. I'm buying several more.
