Just got this one and can’t stop thinking about it! I’m not personally big on gourmand scents but I was looking for something with vanilla and sandalwood and gave this a shot. Wow. So yummy! Buttery, smooth, delicately sweet and delicious without being an in-your-face bakery scent. I’d love to amp up the sandalwood and will be blending it with another FO to get that. If you’re looking for a delicious (but not play-dough) warm vanilla that you just want to eat, you need to try this one out.

Amaretto Madeleine doesn't really smell like amaretto, however this fragrance smells absolutely beautiful! I would say it is more of a white musk or sandalwood forward with a delicate background of vanilla cookie but not very gourmand. The notes of sugar or mild which really suits this fragrance. I love it, I plan to use it in may things such as sugar scrubs, candles, lotion, and CP soap.

From the olfactory scientists that brought you Coastal Cottage... introducing Amaretto Madeleine. Personally I think the sandlewood is a bit strong, and can over power the gormond notes. I feel like this is a very nice coastal bakery scent. I added 25% Spiced Oat Milk to add some additional gormond notes in a 454 coco-soy wax candle. I love this combo, and I think I will mix it with some other bakery scents, to help mellow out the sandlewood note.

It smells like vanilla cake, yet it smells clean. Not overly sweet. I like this one. Will try it in a sugar scrub.

If you're not expecting Amaretto, this is a lovely buttery croissant! It's a lovely fragrance.
