The staple of my hometown is blueberries, so I was looking for a blueberry-esque fragrance oil to round out my summer line (duh... it is blueberry season so of course I had to!). I haven't smelled the blueberry cheesecake fragrance, which I see is very popular, but I leaned more towards this one considering I'm more of a cobbler person. I love this fragrance oil because you really do get the butter and the graham cracker in your HT. If you are looking for a pure blueberry smell, this one may not be it, but the blueberry component smells much less artificial than other blueberry fragrances I've smelled elsewhere.

We did not experience acceleration or separation. After 24 hours we saw some fragrance pooling on the surface of the soap. The bars were tan with an uneven discoloration pattern. After 30 days the soap was dark brown and not aesthetically pleasing, but the scent was very strong. The presentation of the finished bar may not be optimal, but the scent makes it worth any blemishes you might have.
I love this scent BUT I'm having problems finding the right wick for this fragrance. I use 464 wax with the HTP wicks. I see that people are having problems with the other wicks as well when it comes to this fragrance. Can someone help me with this. I love this fragrance and its my top seller. But I have constant problems with the wicks
Customers cannot get enough of this scent, and neither can I. It is perfectly sweet and buttery, just like a fresh blueberry cobbler. Has an amazing CT in soy. The FO is a bit dark, so I have better results when dyeing the wax. Overall, love it.
This fragrance is amazing! Great hot throw! One of my best sellers!
This scent is good but I get a more blueberry scent vs a true cobbler scent. I prefer a more crust/buttery scent for a cobbler.
Wonderful fragrance and STRONG!
I much prefer this over the Blueberry Cheesecake.
However this is a real pain to wick with 464 in 9oz and 16oz straight sided jars. I’ve tried CD’s and ECO’s and the mushrooming and melt pools are in the excessive range. I’m going to make another test batch at a lower FL% and try it all again.
I LOVE this scent! Smells just like warm blueberry cobbler. It does have a softer scent; yet tantalizing! The hot and cold throw are amazing!
I do love this smell, it’s almost mouth watering but I bought a 4oz jar only to get shorted 1 whole oz. I also bought a 10lb bag of 464 wax and when it arrived I was suspicious because it was so light. I decided to weigh the bag only to find out I was shorted 2lbs. I mean it’s great stuff, just order extra because I feel like stuff this happens quite often.
We're glad we were able to get this resolved for you! Please feel free to let us know if we can assist you any further. We are always happy to help!
Amazing throw. I’m not usually a blueberry scent fan but I can not resist this. It’s buttery and a touch of sweet without being cloying. Did very well in my 464 at 10%.
I really like this fragrance. Some people like Blueberry Cheescake better, but i like thiis one better. The Cheescake is a little more tart or tangy, but the Cobbler smells more sweet & buttery, like streusel topping & reminds me of blueberry muffins w/that yummy crumbly topping. It does discolor the wax a little, so take that into consideration when coloring.
This blueberry cobbler is one of my most popular candle scents! It has amazing hot and cold throw. I use it in the 415 pure soy wax and it’s definitely a favorite so far! Very happy with it! You won’t be disappointed!
Is Blueberry Cobbler fragrance oil safe to use in lip balm?
Hi! Typically, we would not recommend the Blueberry Cobbler fragrance oil for use in lip balm, but we will list an IFRA document on the product page that will show maximum percentages of fragrance oil safe to use in various bath and body products. I hope this helps but please feel free to reach out to email@example.com with any questions or concerns, we're always happy to help!
Blueberry Cobbler is my friends and family favorite! I have to order a big bottle every time because of all of the requests!
My customers love this scent in wax melts. This is one of my best selling products.
This was my First time using this product from here in Cold Process soap . It smelled like cough syrup.
This has a great hot throw when I used it in a 3 wick 16-oz soy candle.
The blueberry part isn't as strong as I would have thought. I think the "cobbler" part comes off stronger.
Smells just like Blueberry Cobbler!!!!!
Truly amazing blueberry cobbler. It's strong with a yummy delicious bakery scent. Will purchase again.
It's alright but if you want a blueberry scent the Blueberry Cheesecake one is much better.
I can barely keep this scent on my shelf for 1 day. In demand for the holidays. Thank you Candlescience for this creation!!!
Most blueberry scents so far have been very similar to me. Certainly not bad, just average. Throw is good. Tested in GB 464.
Great Smelling Blueberry Fragrance but would anyone have thoughts on what wick to use for this FO? Been testing HTP, CD, ECO and Premier @ 7% FO load/lb GB464 soy wax. Containers: 4 oz quilted Jelly Jars. 2 drops liquid blue dye from another supplier. Cured ~ 4 days. For test purposes used ~ 2.5 oz wax per Jelly Jar. All tests are a basic synopsis of 3 total burns, the first burn being a "Power Burn" or however you call it - 4-5 hours duration. Basically how I can guess a person who has never made candles would burn a candle without wick trims/centering, etc, Pretty much light & go - not really worry much about it (which they should always do) but... The 2nd/3rd burn time duration's were for ~ 2-3 hours.
Test 1 -
OK, but flame height .75-1.0" a bit tall. Wick leaned BAD enough to concern me. Melt pool OK 3/8"-1/2". But wick mushroomed... NO SOOT, Flame on the Tall side - Very warm glass @ 3rd burn.
Flame height 1"+, Too Tall, got taller on 2nd & 3rd burn. Melt pool 3/8" deep - stayed acceptable BUT SOOTING VERY BAD. Hot Glass @ 2nd- 3RD burns.
1" Flame to start - settled to .75", but even with wick trims got TOO Tall, 1"+ on 1st-3rd burns. Melt pool .5-.75" deep-too deep. SOOT BAD through Burns 1-3 - Comes and goes- Can't figure this wick out. Hot Glass starting @ 1st burn.
PREMIER 760 - Flame .75-1+", Too Tall. Melt pool 3/8" - 3/4"+ - too deep... SOOT BAD Burns 1st-3rd - settled some but...still Soot... Hot Glass on #1-3 burns.
SO, TEST #2 - Everything the same but backed all wicks down by One (1) Size.
Results - Basically results were quite the same as Test #1. Not very impressed...
Test #3 --- Everything (wax, FO load, etc.,) all the same but LOWERED ALL WICKS down AGAIN by one size. Waiting on these four candles to cure for 4 days.
Wondering, has anyone has used C/S's CSN wicks for GB 464 wax? According to the wick chart, CSN's are recommended for palm wax however C/S no longer carries palm wax. I have not read specific reviews on the CSN wicks however, I have used them in the past and from what I recall, sooting was not an issue. Repainting ceilings/walls is no fun.
Any thoughts would be very much appreciated.
I used this scent @ 10% in GB 444 (heated to 190° then allowed to cool to a 185° add temp, stirred constantly for a few min, removed from the double boiler & stirred gently until wax cooled to 120° then poured) for wax melts. The hot and cold throw are both great. In a melt, it really has longevity. For me this fragrance lost a star because of its top "tart" note. Blueberries smell very sweet when baking, making pancakes or waffles. I'm not sure if this would be more believable if the blueberry were less tart or if there were more bakery notes, but as amazing as it is, it misses the mark by an inch.
All of the above having been said, I mixed this scent 2 parts Blueberry Cobbler to 1 part Hansel and Gretel's House and THAT is when it really became a believable blueberry baked good! It could go by many names but we call this mix Blueberry Crumb Cake.
I love this fragrance and so does everyone who has tried it! Nice and strong in 6006. I did have to wick up.
This will be replacing my other blueberry FO. It smells yummy and great HT
I used 10% of this fo in ecosoya pb soy wax and it smells delicious. The hot throw is good. I wouldnt call it strong or over powering but I tested in a small area and it was perfect. My kids and husband love it as well. Smells like someone is baking.
One word... No.
I used 1 oz of Blueberry Cobbler F.O. with 15 oz GB 464 soy wax. Added the F.O. at 185 and poured at 135. O.O.B. it was gross smelling like medicine/cough syrup. My boyfriend walked in the door as I was pouring it and he said it smelled so gross! I had high hopes for this one. The cold throw is so gross too. Not sure if I'm even going to light it. I LOVE Candle Science though and I recommend: Brandied Pear, Oakmoss and Amber as well as Med. Fig (among others!!)
I originally purchased this sent to make Christmas gifts and loved it so much I had to get more to make more gifts. Everyone I gave them to was very pleased with the scent. When I was making the candles, my husband said the smell made him want blueberry muffins. It's a very unique scent that makes my house smell like I just baked. Highly recommend!
I love this one I am burning it in my warmer and it has lasted for 2 days I love it.
I prefer the Blueberry cheesecake over this one, although I find that the two smell almost the same. This one has a slightly weaker hot throw than the blueberry cheesecake IMO. Weird, I know. This is a very delicious smelling scent but I will most likely be sticking with the blueberry cheesecake as my blueberry scent of choice.
Used at 12% in 444, was hoping for some richer baked tones, people smell candy, taffy or bubblegum.
Made with GB464 and let me say this is AH-MAZ-ING. It is incredibly sweet and rich and smells exactly like blueberry cobbler. The scent throw is INCREDIBLE and I have gotten nothing but compliments. I made candles as well as wax melts. I use the wax melts in my office and co workers behind closed doors down the hall can smell it. They seriously thought we baked in here. This is the best scent I have ever used. Try it. You won't be disappointed.
I love love love this scent! It smells so delicious. Definitely one of my favorite scents. I am going to start making mini pie candles soon and i can't wait to try this in a little blueberry pie.
This scent is OFF THE CHAIN good... all the MEN love it and the ladies too... I can keep this scent in stock.... YUMMY scent... and a new personal fav of mine.....
Top seller! Smells just like the blueberries in that instant muffin mix from when I was a kid. LOVE it!
Hands down, this is the best blueberry fragrance I have purchased...and I have tried many. My customers love it. Outstanding hot and cold throw in soy 464 candles and amazing scent throw in tarts and room sprays.
I used this wax at 2 oz per lb in GB 464. The smell was strong, but synthetic in my opinion. Smelled like blueberry candy more than cobbler. Not a bad smell, just not what I was looking for.
Everywhere I go this scent is a favorite, I have to reorder with every order. Wonderful
My all time favorite blueberry fragrance!
I was really excited to try this FO after reading all the reviews, and as im currently making this candle using 464 soy it smells amazing. My whole house smells like it!!! I even have some tough critics who do not like blueberry scents or any bakery types and they just said how amazing it smells. Well done. Will be buying more
Yummy blueberry. No cobbler. Still smells great.gb 464 one oz per half pound
Works well in a variety of waxes and smells so good it gives me the munchies. An oz per lb will do it.
I found this site by mistake and have put it in my favorites. We statred making soy tarts and got this scent as a sample. We will be buying more in the future. We have burned the tart for 5 nites and the scent is still rich is smell.
This fragrance is wonderful!!!!!! Permeates wherever you put the candle: car, house, or office! Love it!
My neighbor asked my to find a blueberry for her, not a fruity smell, but like pie. You should have seen her eyes today, two thumbs up! Smells teriffic!!!
We LOVE this scent! It is incredible...we would recommend it to anyone. Worked wonderful in IGI 4627 Comfort Blend...Way to go Candle Science!!!
I love this, my personal fav-however this is a great seller for me all the time! I love the scent throw! I love it in candles and much more!
Great scent, strong and true to description. Persons who don't ordinarily like "food" scents will like this one.
I love this. I made a votive and it smelled wonderful.
This scent smells just like the name says. I gave some samples away and everyone loved them. I am not a fan of "bakery scents" but this one won me over.
