We did experience slight acceleration but no separation. Once we achieved a light trace, we stick blended just a few seconds more and ended up with a thick trace. The batter poured smoothly into the mold at this point. After 24 hours, we observed the soap had reached a full gel and the bars had discolored to tan with a purplish hue. The scent was very strong. After 30 days, the soap discolored to a light tan and the scent was strong. If you plan to do a bit of detailed design work it may be best to hand stir in the fragrance at a light trace to make sure you have plenty of time to work.

Beatiful

The lavender and the wood scents are in perfect balance in this blend. I am not usually a fan of lavender because it is frequently too green (grassy) for my liking, but this is different. The lavender is almost like an amber grounding the scent and boosting the hot throw. Right at first sniff I knew this was going to perform well in soy wax and it did. I suppose it is masculine, but I am not sure that does the scent justice. The woods are balanced and if I were to name the most pronounced of the wood scents, I would say it was dry cedar.
This is a moody scent that will be popular with those looking for a relaxing bit of indulgence. Candle Science knocked it out of the park with this scent.

Perfumey

This is a really nice take on lavender without losing the base essence of lavender. I use it in a perfume roller blended with high tea to make a lavender tea type smell. Lavender driftwood by itself reminds me of a beachy type of soap

Strong Candle Fragrance
Koophaus 2025-06-04

Working with Beeswax is always difficult for scented candles but of the MANY MANY fragrances I have tried and tested, this is one that made the cut. It has a very strong scent that will fill the room. I love many CS fragrances that just don't work with my specialty wax (I'm a beekeeper so I use beeswax but I don't recommend it to other candle makers as a scented container wax). The unique woodsy element is subtle but goes well with my farm stand vibe. Because of the strength, I feel confident to also use it in blends.
So after testing 30 or so fragrances with my wax, this is only the second that will go into production. Best wishes on your own candle journey!

One of my favourites
Nia 2025-04-28

I have used this scent in both candles and cold process soap now. It is one of my absolute favorites and I cannot get enough. This is a beautiful lavender scent and honestly I prefer this over the pure lavender. It definitely accelerates the batter FAST so I mixed it in by hand after everything else had been added and emulsified. The discoloration isn’t too bad with this one either. I hope this fragrance stays around for a long time!
