I have not tested this in candle wax yet but I can tell you that it does great as a spray for a perfume, cologne or rooms. It smells like it has some bamboo coconut in it. This fragrance is really strong and I mean really strong so a little goes a long ways. You will get your money's worth from this because it does not take a lot.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this fragrance since it seems to be named for a vibe rather than an object or experience (or at least I can't imagine actual obsidian smelling like anything), but it was a pleasant surprise. It's a *bit* "laundry detergent"-y (maybe like new Tide Original?) but a bit more complex. I suspect that's because it's heavy on the bergamot, especially OOB, but the warmer notes are definitely there if you know to look for them. Their "Hide Tide Noir" alternative name idea probably recognizes this similarity (I find High Tide to also smell a bit like a fresh-smelling laundry detergent might, even though it's branded as an oceanic scent, but High Tide is definitely more citrus-y and ozonic). I can't say I smell quite as many notes as they list, but it's great either way!

I haven't done anything with this fragrance yet so this is entirely based off of an OOB experience. This is a nice fragrance that was probably the biggest surprise in the Luxury lineup. I opened it up with expectations (don't do that haha) and it was totally not what I was expecting. There is a definite fruit in that initial sniff. Like a black plum but even sweeter. I expected a dark, warm, resinous fragrance and it is not that. The scent is good, it's just not what I hoped for. I will be looking to find a spot for it in a blend as it IS a strong, nice scent.

OOB this one is fantastic. Very unique, sweet and sultry. Getting ready to make a test batch now!
