Product Notice, January 13, 2025: This product has been discontinued due to low sales. While we don't have a blend recommendation to replace Red Ginger Saffron, we recommend trying Crystallized Ginger and Cardamom.

Red Ginger Saffron is a fresh, true-to-life fragrance oil with modern sensibilities. A zesty top note of lemon enhances the peppery ginger core. Saffron and amber base notes add warmth to this intriguing earthy scent. Ginger, patchouli, and cedarwood essential oils reinforce the natural ginger aromas. Use this fragrance on its own for trendy candles, wax melts, and tarts, or get creative with mixing Red Ginger Saffron with other scents for alluring custom blends. Handcrafted soaps, foaming bath butters, and scrubs with this ginger infusion make for truly unique products.

This fragrance oil is infused with natural essential oils including ginger, cedarwood, geranium, and patchouli.

We did not experience any acceleration or separation and found it difficult to bring the mixture to an emulsion. Once at a very light trace it was quite easy to work with. After 24 hours, the soap had a light yellow discoloration and we observed that the soap reached a partial gel with no insulation. The scent was very strong and true. After 30 days, the soap bars were a very light tan shade and the scent was still strong and true. Due to the minimal discoloration, this would be an excellent fragrance to do complex designs that require an emulsion or light trace.

*Note - This fragrance was tested at a 5% fragrance load. With the release of IFRAs 49th Amendment this fragrance can now be used at 4.56% to remain IFRA compliant.

Beautiful Fragrance

Please bring this fragrance back! It's a beautiful, spicy, gingery fragrance with just the perfect amount of citrusy notes to still keep it bright and uplifting. The suggested fragrance, crystalized ginger and cardamom, doesn't hold the same spicy depth that this fragrance holds and also does not have that same citrusy note. It's more buttery and creamy than this fragrance was. Ginger and Saffron Citronella is also too... citranella-y, as the citranella completely washes out the ginger... :( I'm really sad to see this fragrance go and dearly hope it makes a return.

I went to order a few more jugs of this as it's one of my best sellers - so so sad to see it discontinued! It's the perfect high end blend of spicy and earthy and comforting. It really is a year-round scent and my customers love that it's a good kitchen candle too. Doesn't overpower food. So so sad this is discontinued. Please consider reviving it!
